We went for thanksgiving day...first we got lost, because they change the name on the street, the houses in the neighborhood are in really bad condition, so we got scare...but when we saw this cabin was another thing, it is really beautiful and we have all what we need it...
we thought that we had it a good time, until I received an email seeing that we left the cabin in bad condition (that was not true, we clean our dishes and we put them back, we left the kitchen in very good condition…but….I didn’t know that if you pay for cleaning you have to live everything bighting) and also we left more bag of garbage, that we suppose (only 2 bags), now you tell me…how 11 people staying 3 days…eating at the house, will make just 2 bags of garbage? Any way, I got really offence because of the email.
I hope you can live a better review, I have to admit the cabin is beautiful, just plan with time not to eat..jajajaja
Owner's Response: These tenants left the cabin trashed. It normally takes my housekeeping staff about 4 hours to clean this large cabin. After these tenants checked out, it took my crew 9 hours to clean up their mess. I gave them detailed instructions on the check out procedure and it clearly states in the rental agreement our policies. These folks broke the rental agreement and I let them know that I was going to charge them a little extra for the excessive trash, excessive filth, and destruction of some of the furniture (I have photos as proof). I am sorry that they got lost on their way to Simply Serene. As long as I've been renting this cabin, these are the first folks that have gotten lost. There has not been any change in the road names. They did call me and ask for directions and in mid sentence the man on the phone started yelling at someone in the car and hung up on me.
I am very sorry that these folks got offended when I told them I was going to charge them for the mess they left, and by the way, in the end, I did not charge them anything at all. I did not want to offend them anymore. We have now cleaned the cabin and it is restored to the perfect condition it was in before they checked in. I am always available for any questions my guests have. Many, many folks have enjoyed staying at our cabin and I'm certain, there will be many more.
