My fiance and I, as well as 3 other couples spent 3 nights including New Year's eve in this wonderful home! We had seen the pictures and they looked great, but did not do the home justice! When we arrived and drove up the driveway we loved that the home was secluded and the views were amazing! From the moment we arrived we did not want to leave. They have everything you would need, from pots & pans to movies & games. They have washer & dryer in the basement. We brought our Wii and the tv was in a perfect place to play. The fireplace was awesome as well! I really couldn't think of one thing to complain about. The first night we got there we realized on 2 occasions that we had forgot things we needed for diner so we took a short ride to the local convenient store which was maybe 4 miles down the road, and when I tell you, they have everything!! Food, beer, snacks, movie rentals, etc.! We skied Waterville Valley on New Years eve day, which was very crowded. I would say if you do plan to ski look into one of the other mountains nearby. Saturday we all went to lunch at the Woodstock Brewery which was less than 9 miles from the house. Enjoyed some samplers and yummy cheeseburgers! The owner Jon, was very helpful and promptly returned any emails or calls. I don't know if he built this house or had it built, but either way whoever built it did a fantastic job! Hopefully we will have a chance to come back in the near future!

T'is true that Waterville can be busy on weekends, but has a beautiful setup for family skiing. I can add that Loon Mountain in Lincoln is another excellent alternative, as well as Cannon Mtn. Cannon is in fact the least busy -- I've never seen a long lift line there yet. Thanks and Regards - Owner
