The Kahana Outrigger was a great, small condo community. It was nice to sit on the deck, watch the kids swim, and be able to get to them quick if needed. The pictures are spot on as to what it looks like. The whole area was clean and very nice. Our booking agant Renee, was great! When we arrived to the condo, we found a few items like cards, movies, fins, boogie boards, sand toys, noodles, etc. that we where able to use while there. We left a few items for the next guests, so check out what is there before buying/renting things. When other guests had to go home, they offered food they did not use and we did the same when we left. I would definitely go back and stay there. It was plenty of room for 2 families with 4 kids (8 of us altogether).



We went on the Alii Nui for our snorkel trip to Molokini, it was amazing!! The staff, food, snorkeling area, boat ride was all great! We went on a helicopter ride with Air Maui. Dylan was our pilot and he was funny and very informative as to where we were and the history of things on the island. If I were to do the Road to Hana trip again, I'd stay at a hotel or camp somewhere on that side of the island and come back the next day to see what we missed. The Luau at Old Lahinia was very informative about the islands history and the food was great, but if you have kids, (at least ours), were not real excited about it.
