We had booked for 7 nights. When we arrived we were told that they had water leak from upstairs so the bathroom ceiling had a piece of cardboard. The bedroom curtains were stained. The area rugs were very old and dirty. The place needs an upgrade. We decided not to stay and asked for a refund.
Its a shame since it is a good location but the internet pictures are misleading.
The apartment was just as described, very comfortable for a family of 4 and the owner provided all the things we needed. He was extremely cooperative and responded quickly to all our needs even the ones who were out of his direct responsibility. The location was near attractions and subway stations and when we walked back late at night it was always very safe and with many shops open. Most recommended!!!
Owners were very cooperative and nice. Place was a typical New York apartment and met our needs. Transaction was good and communication was awesome. The bed in bedroom was comfortable.
We just returned from a 4-night stay in this apartment. The apartment is a quick walk to the subway and grocery stores and only 15 minutes to Times Square. We enjoyed our stay, but the apartment is definitely older than it appears in the pictures. The floors are very worn. It was mostly clean but had mildew on the shower curtain. There were four towels, two of which were old and worn. We never met the owners, but a lady just entered the apartment with keys at 9:00 am the morning we were leaving. We had arranged with Viet to leave by 10:00 am. She just came in at 9:00 am and said the next people were on their way. For the price, we were happy with the apartment. We were out touring most of the day and just used it as a place to sleep at night.
Our family of 4 stayed here 6/13-17/12. We enjoyed the apt. with a computer and very accessible to many NYC sites. The Bedroom was great, sofa couch ok for kids (I don't think adults would sleep well on it though), kitchen fine, bathroom big enough but the tub did not drain well, clean overall but could use some TLC- good for the price. 4 days was ok- don't think I'd stay longer. The AC units blew mildly cool air- glad the outside temp. was only in the high 70's-low 80's when there. Close grocery store was nice and the owners answered many questions promptly before for we arrived.
The apartment was in a great location; we were able to get ahold of the apartment owners relatively quickly and easily - they responded to emails within a day, and phone calls immediately.
We were a little unsure about the key pickup and final payment, but everything went smoothly, and things were conveniently located to the apartment!
