Great location... wonderful Chicago vacation!

We have recently returned from an amazing family vacation in Chicago and MUST take the time to write a good review for this property. The process of renting the property was a breeze thanks to a very professional approach by JP, and he always made himself very available to answer any questions we might have about the area. We felt well informed and confident about what was happening at every step of the way. Our aim on this trip was to let the children (aged 10 and 9) experience living right in the heart of the city. We wanted to be able to step out the front door and immediately find ourselves close to anything we might want to do. This apartment certainly fit the bill. It was clean and airy, with lots of windows and light and surrounded by spectacular skyscraper views. The location was ideal for walking within the city, or catching the CTA (the nearest station is right across the street). We can certainly recommend the citypass (which was recommended to us by JP). We used it for some great trips to the Aquarium, the Hancock Observatory (which we could see from the apartment!), the Field Museum and the planetarium. Roys restaurant which is located in the building was so good that we went twice... if you go, tell John the waiter that the family from Bermuda mentioned how good he is on the internet! Other highlights that we would recommend are trips to Millenium Park, taking in the shops on MIchigan Avenue, going to see the Cubs at wrigley field and definitely seeing the Bulls at the United Center! (Watch out, getting back from the United Center can be difficult just because of the sheer volume of people leaving the stadium all at once!) We travelled to Chicago in early April, which was a bit chilly, but the weather was never bad enough to spoil anything we wanted to do, and I wouldn't hesitate to go at that time of year again. We will most certainly return to Chicago at some point soon, and would love to experience it a little warmer, just so we can take advantage of some of the outdoor areas (particularly the bars and restaurants that have outside seating areas!). Thanks for everything you did to help us have a wonderful holiday, JP. We will be back.
