House, 5 Bedrooms + Loft, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

From the fully enclosed entry mud room, to the attached carriage house, this Vermont country cape built in 1857 has a lot of charm!

Nestled in the middle of 5 mountains (Magic-8 mins, Bromley & Stratton-20 mins, Okemo-25 mins & Killington-50 mins) you have everything you need for your Vermont getaway.

Our home is also wonderful during foliage and in Summer! As a matter of fact, the mountain behind our house is one photographed often by leaf peepers!

Right next door is Gordon's Christmas Tree farm where you can choose & cut your own tree for a nominal cost, and, if you rent our home before Christmas, one tree is on us! Our kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook your own meals, and some nice restaurants are just minutes away if you are too tired to cook!

Enjoy the wood fireplace while watching one of our many DVD's or playing games in our game room! Bring your own sheets and towels!

If you leave it as you found it there is no cleaning fees. If we have to clean, it will cost you a $75.00 fee.

The Owner purchased this house in 2005
Why The Owner chose Chester

Central to 5 ski mountains and close proximety to Rt 91. Exit 6 in Vermont...travel west and you're in the driveway in less than 20 mins!! This house is also FABULOUS for a romantic getaway!

What makes this house unique

Peace and quiet! Charm of a house built in 1857....a great fireplace and a huge country kitchen! The river in the back is great for fishing, and the babbling brook across the street will sing it's lullaby to you and you will sleep!

HI Gina,
We had a GREAT time at your house! The leaves were so pretty during our stay and our trek about all the mountains! We are looking forward to making another trip in winter for a peek at how it looks in the snow! We thought the location was fabulous, the house was truly "charming' and having the games and all the movies for the kids was a help for the day of rain. We look forward to staying again this winter!!

We really enjoyed your lovely home! We had smores party with our boys, and we gazed for hours at the stars! We've never seen so many in the skies in Pa !!
