Woodstock Vacation Rental house

Where do I begin? The beautiful photos and description do not do this home justice. For over 30 years I have travelled the world and stayed at many incredible, outstanding places, but Abby and her husband have created the most wonderful, luxurious, unforgettable home-away-from-home I have ever stayed in.

This was actually my first home rental experience (I usually stay at B&Bs), and what a way to start! This would be my dream home! They built it themselves with utmost love and attention to every detail. A grand, new colonial-style mansion, high ceilings which I love, with every top-of-the-line amenity one could imagine (all listed above) including central air conditioning! So much light through so many big windows - you are surrounded by beauty everywhere. There's also a great porch on the 2nd floor where you can lounge under the sky, sun or stars. Coming from NYC, one feature we especially appreciated was the excellent alarm system with a "panic button" feature that could bring assistance immediately if needed - that added a sense of security for us city girls that made the stay all the more peaceful. Having quiet meals on the back porch where the sound of the little waterfall in the stream behind the house makes you feel like you are living in another century (but thank goodness for all the beautiful, modern conveniences Abby and her husband have so generously provided!). There's also a great electric piano!

Abby is the greatest "landlady", and the best compliment I can give is that she truly makes you feel like family, and she attends to every question, and she always made herself available from the very first inquiring phone call through the reservation process and during our stay. There aren't enough superlatives except to say, if I could, I would move in!
