'Gone Too Far' is a gorgeous brand new cottage in Old Madaket with view of Hither Creek and Sunset Beach on Madaket Harbor, great part of the island. Very fresh, attractive, high end two bedroom, one and a half bath. Professionally decorated cottage just completed in May 2008! First Floor: Bedroom, bath w/ stack washer/ dryer, bedroom/study w/ desk, copier, fax, etc. Two 10X30 mahogany porches. Second floor: Living room, open kitchen/ dining (Kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances), gas stove and fireplace, half bath, sun deck. Fun upside down floor plan takes advantage of the views.

What a fantastic getaway! The owner has thought of everything. There are so many amenities included that we virtually just had to "show up." And best yet, we were so close to the beach... just a short walk! I should mention the sunsets from the upstairs balcony. Can't get any more romantic! This cottage really had everything we could have desired. Thanks Margaret for creating a perfect getaway spot. We look forward to coming back next year. It was a vacation we'll long remember!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, house was neat and clean. Kitchen, living area and bedrooms were perfect. We especially enjoyed the upstairs deck off the living room. The first floor front and back decks and the patio added additional comfort. Far enough off Madaket Rd. but close enough to walk. A definite keeper, we'll be back!

My Fabulous Getaway in May!

My "vacay" was great! ... and the cottage was perfectly clean, quaint and very accommodating! I loved having my morning coffee and evening cocktails on the balcony! The cobblestone streets were charming and the shops on main street were fun. Loved watching the boats at the harbor and the "chowda" at the Seafood House! Definitely making a return visit!
