Photos and Description of the Blue Water Resort vacation condo rental
Condo- 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s) - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 6)

Our spacious and colorful 2-bedroom/2 bath condo is located directly on the ocean at the popular and beautiful Bluewater Resort at the South end of Myrtle Beach, SC. The Bluewater boasts 11 bodies of water, including an ocean front pool, an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and a lazy river (across the street.) The complex offers an on-site racquetball court and shuffleboard. An in-season restaurant is usually available for breakfast if you don’t want to cook, but you may prefer oceanfront dining on our balcony or in our condo dining room with its ocean view. If you come to stay here, I am confident you will enjoy it as much as we do. Our objective is to furnish it so you will have everything you need in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere at the beach.

Extra Large Balcony: Our extra large (6 feet by 24 feet) balcony has plenty of room for oceanfront dining at the table we have placed there, or you may prefer to just sit and relax on one of the rocking chairs or other chairs we have provided. Our condo is located on the fifth floor, so our balcony is high enough to provide privacy and a good view, yet not high enough to bother most guests.

Living Room: A sliding glass door provides direct access to the oceanfront balcony from the living room.

Free Long Distance Phone Line: The phone line in our condo has free long distance to the United States and Canada.

Located on the Fifth Floor: Our condo is on the fifth floor. We intentionally bought a condo located on the fifth floor. Before we bought our condo we always tried to get a room on the fifth floor when renting at the beach. We found that being on the fifth floor gave us a good view of the beach while providing privacy and a secure feeling we didn't have when we were too far from the ground.

I have recently made upgrades to my condo. These improvements include 47 inch flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom, a 32 inch flat screen TV in the front bedroom, an electric fireplace in the living room, and more.

The Bluewater Resort is 5 min from Myrtle Beach airport. If you are flying in, car rental is available at the airport. It is a 10 min drive to the large Coastal Grand Mall which hosts movie theaters, major department stores, specialty stores and restaurants. The restaurants represent something for everyone –steak houses, seafood, barbecue, fast food, Mexican and more. Regional favorites are also close by. Those who want will be able to find and buy groceries within a few miles of the Bluewater. Food Lion is 5 min away (w/Big Lots right next door!) Members will find Costco adjacent to the Coastal Grand Mall as well as Super Wal Mart for shopping needs. Sam’s Club members will be happy to find this located 15 min away. The new Market Commons shopping center is about a mile away down at the end of Ocean Blvd, across 17 business. Live theater shows are on most every night and are just minutes away. The new Hard Rock Park is only 15 min away. Broadway at the Beach is about 20 min away.

Notes: Color is fun! Our condo is full of fun “beachy” colors. Take your choice of which color Fiesta Ware dish to eat off of at each meal. Bake a cake, cook a turkey and mashed potatoes (electric hand mixer and turkey baster are part of the kitchen equipment as are a tea kettle, potato masher, steamer basket for seafood (one of our favorites is to steam shrimp and eat it out on the balcony for dinner!) If you needed it and don’t find it, leave us a note in our comment book and the next time you return, we’ll have it in the kitchen! An over-sized balcony overlooking the ocean holds a dining table and chairs for al fresco dinning on the ocean – breakfast, lunch or dinner. The fully equipped kitchen will let you prepare your favorite meals and snacks in comfort and at your own pace. The balcony also holds two rocking chairs for unwinding while watching the ocean and the folks on the beach as well as for napping! The Bluewater is very conveniently located. *

We visited #502 for one week, Aug. 4-11, 2012. The condo is very clean, and its proximity to the beach is wonderful!! The balcony is really lovely, and very spacious. Undisclosed to us at the time of rental, 6 out of 7 nights, the bar 5 floors below played music and did karaoke, from 8-11. The volume of the music is extremely loud, and can be heard through closed balcony doors, even with the curtains drawn. If you have young children, or just don't like very loud music, this may not be the condo for you.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

We stayed in this condo last year, and was so impressed, we came back this year. We were not disappointed. This is a very nicely decorated, well maintained. unit.

The owners are very good to work with. Always willing to answer questions. We look forward to staying here again.
