This was our 2nd home for several years before we moved to Maui full time. We furnished it lovingly with stylish Island decor. You'll want to eat your meals outside on the spacious lanai and enjoy Maui's fabulous sunsets each evening. The complex has 2 good sized pools and each has a hot tub (spa). There are 2 BBQ areas; 1 at each pool. The Homeowners Association keeps the complex in top shape with luscious tropical landscaping.
Off our large lanai (patio) there are stairs down to one of the pools-making the unit unsafe for families with young children but very convenient to get to the pool and to BBQ. Reserved parking right next to the unit; security guard on site from sunset each evening until early morning. Property manager on site. Quiet hours and pool closure enforced 10pm to 8am. During whale season (December through March) you can sit on the large lanai (patio) and watch the whales frolic in the warm waters of Maui.
Additional area information:
A car is necessary to enjoy Maui properly. Maui's top beaches are a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive away. Fabulous shopping is a 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk (we often walk down for an ice cream after dinner). Several restaurants are within walking distance and many, many are within a 10 minute drive. Grocery stores are nearby as is a lovely wine shop. Our visitor book will give you all our favorite places and other helpful information. Golf and tennis discounts available as a Wailea Grand Champion guest. Short drive to multiple resort or muni golf courses. Wailea Tennis center is a 2 minute walk from the unit!
Golf:
This complex is located on the Wailea Old Blue Golf Course. You can drive to any of 5 courses in a matter of minutes. Many more within 20-45 minute drive. As our guest, you receive a discounted rate at Wailea Golf courses. I have a set of right hand ladies clubs (D, 3W, 5W, 7W, 6H, 7H, 8I, 9I, PW, SW, putter) available at no charge ($250 fully refundable damage/loss deposit). I can also arrange a very nice set of rental clubs for you for $20/day.
