Charming Studio in Montmartre Just two blocks from the steps of Sacre-Coeur. Come and taste the Parisian life: Montmartre is the home of many artist and entertainers. From Place Charles Dullin, enter the gate of Villa Dancourt and its private courtyard. Our studio is situated on the third floor (there is an elevator). It has lots of sun and light throughout the day with a view of the courtyard from the large bay window, and at night it is very quiet. just outside the gate you will find bistros, restaurants, quaint artist boutiques, little markets and a great supermarket for groceries. the apt offers all the necessities, tv with english channels. free internet connection and free phone calls to the US.

Montmartre is a unique artsy area : Step outside our apt, place Charles Dullin with its oldest theatre of Paris, lots of outside cafes and little restaurants where you meet artists from all over the world. Visit the Montmartre museum, Dali Museum with 300 of his master pieces .For a walk through the widing streets up to the Sacre Coeur where all the lovers meet, you will have the best view of Paris and feel the heart of Paris. Behind Sacre Coeur is the'Place du Tertre' where artists paint outside and sell their works . You can also enjoy all kinds of souvenirs shops and cafes.

Night in town: Montmartre is the most entertaining at night with famous bars and night clubs. For the most entertaining shows, the Moulin Rouge is just a couple of blocks away., and the cafes are also for people watching. Paris lives at night.

Other Activities: shopping, biking. Tickets for bus tours, museums passes and metro passes on sale at the information booth, 2 blocks from apt (Anvers metro stop).

We had the pleasure of renting this lovely apartment in July of 2009 and it was a wonderful experience! The beds were so comfortable and it was so nice to be able to open up the windows and let the cool breezes in. Everything you need is here, including a handy little washing machine! The building has a charming art deco feel to it. The space looks exactly as it does in the pictures, very chic and clean. There are many fantastic shops and restaurants in the area as well! We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends. Hopefully we will be able to visit again someday!

Everything You Desire and More!

My wife and I had been apart for a couple of months due to my business travel. We had a chance to rendezvous in Paris - where better?!
First I will tell you that the apartment is clean, well maintained, and a perfect balance of old world charm and modern convenience. Its not a big place, but perfect if you are not a picky person in need of luxury. The concierge, and her son, was courteous, pleasant and attentive, when needed, and otherwise invisible. The owner is great to work with, accommodating and straight forward. There were no surprise fees and the whole transaction was easy and painless. Thank you Francois!
Now I will say that, at first, before our arrival, I was worried if I had chosen the right place. My fears were all in vein. The apt is situated perfectly in Montmartre, just steps from the Sacre-Coeur cathedral. Montmartre is a great mixture of an arts district with a little bit of decadence thrown in (the Moulin Rouge is just down the street). The neighborhood is a lively blend of shops, bistros, cafés, and small pubs. One exit from the small apt complex leads you to a main street with close access to the Metro – from there EVERYTHING is only 10 - 15 minutes away. The other exit reveals Paris as it is to the Parisians; it opens to a small neighborhood café and market where you can simply relax, pass time and watch the world go by. I can’t say enough about all we did, from the typical tourist stuff to simply walking through our neighborhood and having a great time with the locals and nearby events. We could not have had a better reunion. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to be back soon!

2 Wonderful Weeks in Paris!

I just loved the studio! It was perfect! I thought it was very quaint and charming. It was also central to the streets if Montmartre, which is beautiful little suburb of Paris.

I also liked the fact that you could walk to the Metro, or catch a taxi or a bus to anywhere in the city.

One of the best things about the studio was that the owner provided us with the names and numbers of 2 contacts in Paris, in case we need anything. Which in my case, was very helpful.

I would highly recommend this this studio to Singles, Adventure Seekers, History Buffs and even as a romantic getaway.
