Mayaguana House sits on over two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the water with a private beach on the property. The main house features cathedral ceilings and air-conditioning throughout, a gourmet kitchen with beautiful sea views, 22 feet of sliding glass across the connected living and dining rooms. The master suite with king bed has a large master bath with walk-in closet, double basins, walk in shower and private WC. A small office and guest powder room complete the main house. The large ocean side terrace is partially shaded by a traditional Bahamian hip roof, creating the perfect spot for watching the boats sail by enroute to George Town.
The adjacent guest house, located about 15 feet from the kitchen entrance to the main house, has one large bedroom (with one king-size bed and one twin, with a twin rollaway available), sitting area with sea view, and comfortable bath. Laundry facilities are entered by separate entrance at north end of guest house.
Other amenities include all new appliances (gas cook top and double ovens, dishwasher), outdoor BBQ, washer and dryer, telephone, satellite TV, CD player, plenty of board games, playing cards, and puzzles and books. All bed, bath, and beach linens are provided. We have recently added a high speed wireless internet connection.
For larger groups, consider also reserving our separate one bedroom cottage, The Tree House, located within the Old Hooper's compound. See our A1Vacations Tree House ad.

The recently opened Four Seasons Resort at the north end of Exuma offers excellent dining and exciting golf on their new 18 hole seaside course.
