Mayaguana House : The main house is Mayaguana House, which includes it's separate adjacent guest house. The main house features cathedral ceilings and air-conditioning throughout, a gourmet kitchen with beautiful sea views, 22 feet of sliding glass across the connected living and dining rooms. The master suite has ocean view with king bed, a large master bath with walk-in closet, double basins, walk in shower and private WC. A small office and guest powder room complete the main house. The large ocean side terrace is partially shaded by a traditional Bahamian hip roof, creating the perfect spot for watching the boats sail by enroute to George Town.
The adjacent guest house, located about 15 feet from the kitchen entrance to the main house, has one large bedroom (with one king-size bed and a queen bottom/top single bunk bed), sitting area with sea view, and comfortable bath. Laundry facilities are entered by separate entrance at north end of guest house.
Our third bedroom is located in the Tree House cottage on the hill above Mayaguana House. The Tree House has a fully equipped kitchen, dining counter, living area with TV, CD, DVD players, phone and wireless internet. The separate bedroom has one queen bed with a spectacular sea view right from your pillow tops. The comfortable bath with walk in shower also has a stack washer/dryer unit for your convenience. The Tree House is available as a stand-alone rental for two persons maximum or can be combined with Mayaguana House for groups requiring 3 separate bedrooms. For more complete information, please see our separate ad for the Tree House on Homeaway.com at listing # 218077.
Other Mayaguana House amenities include all new appliances (gas cook top and double ovens, dishwasher), outdoor BBQ, washer and dryer, telephone, satellite TV, CD player, plenty of board games, playing cards, and puzzles and books. All bed, bath, and beach linens are provided. We have recently added a high speed wireless internet connection.
For larger groups, consider also reserving our separate one bedroom cottage, The Tree House, located within the Old Hooper's compound. See our A1Vacations Tree House ad.
