By renting directly from the owner you can save up to $350 per week for other condo's in this building! This two bedroom condo features a private oceanfront balcony, an on-site, beautiful oceanfront swimming pool and a kiddie pool. The beach in front of the complex is the widest on the island! The beach is beautiful with white and powdery sand The central location of this means you aren't caught in beach traffic once you arrive. The beach and pool are right downstairs. Parking is PLENTIFUL and most everything is within walking distance: restaurants, fishing boats, shopping, the boardwalk, and amusements. Gulf stream fishing, pier fishing, golfing, the Fort Fisher Battlefield, and the USS North Carolina are all nearby. Wilmington is approximately 20 minutes away, and has excellent shopping, historical sites, a water park, and much more.

Golf Courses are nearby, only a 5-10 minute drive to Beau Rivage and The Cape. There are biking trails and bicycles to rent right next to the condo building. You can also rent kyacks, and beach items. The Carolina Beach State Park is renowned for their beautiful scenic hiking trails.

Notes: We provide linens, towels, and beach towels at no additional charge (which can run an additional 50-60 dollars per week. I pass the savings off to our guests by just asking them to launder before they leave. I would think this condo is wheelchair accessible. I don't know the rules on that as far as door sizes, etc. But I do know there is a ramp access to the elevator and a wheelchair can get into the condo. I am a pet lover, but unfortunately, the HOA does not allow animals. While there is no exercise room, for an additional $20 per family you can join the local recreation center for the week and enjoy a weight room, basketball games for kids, a racquetball room, a cardio room, and exercise classes. Its a nice way to meet the locals (we all go there) and make friends that you can keep up with year to year.

There are bicycle paths and bicycle rentals within walking distance to the condo You can rent kayaks or take guided tours There are weekly family passes to the Carolina Beach Recreation Center which hosts raquetball court, weight room, cardio room, basketball court and game room. Its a great way to meet the locals! Golf Courses are Everywhere! Enjoy Beau Rivage or The Cape which is just a short drive away!

After a long walk on the beach or hiking the many beautiful trails in the state park, enjoy a massage or facial at the I AM Salon Day Spa at Monkey Junction.

This condo was much better than described. The place was very clean and quiet. The beach was very easy to walk to even with a 1 year old. The elevator was an obvious plus. The view from the balcony was breath taking. I was a little apprehensive to book a condo online, but the excellent customer service provided by Sharon put my worries to ease. This is most definetly a place that I will vacation for many more summers to come. Thank You Sharon for a wonderful experience. Tiffany

We were a group of four people, and we had a great time!!! Great views, everything was very convenient. Alot of things to do and see. My favorite was sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and watching the birds, very relaxing,and peaceful. Things in condo wasn't perfect, but Sharon plainly stated to call her if there were any problems, or if anything was needed.I believe that if people renting the condo would take care of what is there, and not take things that is not theirs, and replace things like toilet paper, paper towels, etc. that they use then there would be less problems. It is courtesy to clean up before you leave, and leave a note of things needed or problems for Sharon. Sharon was excellent, very nice person. Condo was nice and clean. Bowmans Seafood was the best restaurant.I would recommend this condo for anyone, and would love to come back and stay here again.

Had amenities needed. lacking a can opener which is a must in a condo with a kitchen. A hand can opener was purchased and left for future renters. Lovely view of ocean. Boardwalk was remodeled since last time visited which is a nice addition when you have bored teenagers.
Would recommend and when possible will return. thanks

Family Vacation

My husband and I were unsatisfied with this rental property. The condo was unclean and alot of things did not work properly. There were amenities listed on the website that were not in the condo. Upon letting the owner know how we felt and about the many problems that we encountered with the condo we received no explanation or apology. I would not recommend this property to a friend or to anyone. The view of the fireworks on Thursday from the balcony was great.
Owner's Response: I am sorry the guests were not satisfied with the oceanfront condominium. Had they not waited until 10 days after their arrival I would have addressed all issues immediately. My last email prior to this family arriving clearly stated if they needed anything to call me on my cell and again gave them my number since I live nearby the condo and have a maintenance person on call at all times. It is the first time in 4 years that I received a complaint about cleanliness. And I have been using the same cleaning team all this time. When I went to the condo upon receiving an email from the vacation guests with my maintenance person the only thing that was wrong with the condo is the tub in the bathroom was not draining properly, the towel rack in the bathroom was loose and the stopper in the sink came loose. It took my maintenance person less than 15 minutes to correct these items. And yes the ammenity of a dishwasher was inadvertently put on my site and will immediately be removed. I pride myself on providing a safe, clean, fully functioning condo so my guests can have a memorable time and come back again soon.
