Welcome to Sölvesborg
Sölvesborg, with approximately 17 000 inhabitants may be referred to as Scanian-Danish town. The city was built in the protection of the fort, which has given its name to the place. The road network dates back to the Middle Ages.
In the winding streets of the city you will find small, nice shops and several cafés.
The peninsula Listerland is mostly flat land on which the characteristic fishing villages out close together on the Bay of Hanö. The sought-after island Hanö say is a very popular destination, you can reach it by ferry from Nogersund out.

Solvesborg we offer many different events.
To some of the biggest events are the Sweden Rock Festival in June, the
Killebomfestival early July, the Hällevik Tradjazz Festival in August and the much-visited
Christmas market in Slottslängorna.
Visit the unique peninsula near Listerlandet with its picturesque fishing villages that are strung like pearls on a string along the coast. There are really maritime ambience. With the smell of sea and seaweed, the sound of chugging fishing boats and the cries of the gulls in the air as well as the delicious sight of freshly smoked seafood in the local smokehouses
Other destinations in the area includes the Salmon River with Mörrumsån Laxens Hus, which is one of the best fishing waters in the whole region of Blekinge. Karlshamn attract businesses as well as the interesting Kreativum for young researchers.
