Well appointed Chalet within walking distance to Stratton Mountain. Shuttle stops at driveway. Professionally decorated and comfortable furniture with all goose down pillows, goose down comforters and 100% cotton sheets....an easy house to live in with all that you'll need to enjoy the Manchester/Stratton area. Kitchen is well equiped. Two fireplaces and billiard room. Skiing, Hiking, Swimming and Shopping all nearby. Excellent for Fall Foliage and ski season but also a very peaceful quiet property for any time of year. Great for families with separate floors for easy living-Parents can lounge in beautiful sitting area upstairs close to their bedrooms with fireplace and flat screen tv, surround sound and young persons can play pool and watch flat screen tv downstairs also with surround sound. Downstairs also has a a fireplace. Bunk rooms are on the downstairs floor as well. A single family could enjoy the upstairs also-there are several options depending on your needs.

In the spring, summer and fall Canoeing and Kayaking on the Battenkill River are great fun in nearby Manchester. Our son's favorite is to go to the Quarry in Dorset where a beautiful swimming whole awaits. This Quarry is the oldest in the U.S. and offers high jumps and a cool refreshing swim....It is the beach of the Manchester area. Shopping is only a few minutes away. Skiing at Stratton is some of the best in East.

Details: Our home is great for the Fall Foliage Season-we are a five to seven minute walk to the Stratton Mountain. Stratton Mountain offers a charming village with shopping and restaurants. During the winter you can take the shuttle right from our driveway for skiing making it very easy to go back and forth. It is a great house for two families-allowing a downstairs Billiard Room-hang out room and bunks for kids and teenagers and an upstairs living area for adults with a Master Bedroom and beautiful Guest Room. The whole family can easily hang out upstairs also. It is very clean and the kitchen has everything to prepare meals.

Technology: We offer surrounds sound and flat screen sony tv's on both floors. We also have wi-fi and complete internet capabilities.
