Le Querce is one of the exclusive complexes part of a beautiful estate on the island of Elba, just an hour from the coast of Tuscany. This prestigious estate lies at about ten kilometres from Capoliveri. The track leading to the property seems to take you away from the chaos of modernity with its traffic, televisions and mobile phones, to a world where peace and quiet reign supreme (home phones are provided however). The complex Le Querce is a converted farm building consisting of ten independent apartments. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, pine woods and Mediterranean maquis, these apartments provide a perfect retreat for those who love nature, sport and the sea. Each one has its own private terrace ideal for outside meals and with wonderful views of the countryside and the sea. The interiors, all furnished with taste and simple elegance include a spacious living room-cum-kitchen with sofa bed and a comfortable double bedroom with bathroom. Guests may use the large swimming pool belonging to the estate just 300 metres from the complex. There is also a nearby market and a restaurant providing both Tuscan and international cuisine, open throughout the year. The beaches of Remaiolo and Calanova, with their bar and restaurant, can be reached on foot, by car or with a free shuttle service. Horse riding, tennis, yoga, diving, snorkeling and boat and bike hire are available on request. Visits are also made to the local winery for wine tasting.
