When you enter Falls Creek Lodge you are immediately awed by every feature in this house. The wide-open great room features a stone masonry wood-burning fireplace, all hardwood floors, lots of glass from floor to cathedral ceiling, and all are complimented by the awesome furniture and accessories. Adjoining this room is a large dining room that seats eight comfortably for the family formal dining with an additional antique breakfast table that also seats everyone comfortably. The kitchen is the piece de resistance with yards of granite counter tops, plenty of windows, and stainless steel appliances. The large gas range features a grill, and there is a convection oven as well – this is truly the chef’s dream kitchen, right down to the butler’s pantry.
The master bedroom on the main floor is spacious and comfortable with lots of wood and French doors opening onto a private spot on the deck. The master bath has both a luxurious walk-in shower and huge whirlpool tub for total relaxation after a long day on the slopes or hiking. The upstairs has two more bedrooms with two full beds in one large, pine tongue and groove bedroom while the second is more for children with two twins and lots of toys. The adjoining bath is again large and beautiful.
Handicap accessible with limitations.
For larger groups, consider renting this cabin with nearby Hebron Falls, Celtic Mist or Wounded Fork.
Located just on the edge of Boone, Falls Creek Lodge has paved access until the final two miles, which requires 4WD during inclement winter weather.
Please remember 4WD or chains are always recommended when visiting the mountains in winter.
