The new dock is perfect place to bring your boat or sit out with a chair and enjoy the water. Kayak is available for renter's use. The Area: The Finger Lakes is a destination for its natural beauty and social bounty: Watkins Glen, Ithaca, Hammondsport puts one in mind of cars, hiking and wine. Biking around the lakes has become a special pleasure in addition to traditional attractions of boating, swimming and fishing -- in both summer and winter. Great restaurants go hand in hand with pleasant, affordable eateries, and the local color of the Windmill shopping works for antique and bargain hunters of speciality goods, furniture and clothes. And in a word, it just does not get more beautiful than this area!
