Great Rental in Beautiful Historic District

I have used VRBO multiple times in the past in various locations throughout the country, and I must say this house had more character, charm, and amenities than all the others combined. Heather was very accommodating in our ever changing arrival time, and greeted us graciously hours later than we thought we would be there, politely showing us around the house and answering any questions we had. Everything we came to see in Savannah's Historic District was within easy walking distance, including the River Street area, which at a leisurely pace takes about 20 minutes. Forsyth Park is at the end of the block, and the grocery store is only a few blocks away-- again an easy walk, even with grocery bags! But, back to the house, the beds are wonderful, the kitchen well appointed ( you'll be eating most of your meals out -- too many great local places and not enough time!), and having a washer and dryer (and laundry soap) available comes in handy, even if you don't think you'll need it while on vacation! You are renting the main level of this house, but you would never know that anyone even lived in the upper level as there was literally no noise coming from up there at all. The front porch is great in the evening with a glass of wine, and the Starbucks coffee in the morning was a nice touch.
I am so glad I found this rental on vrbo, and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to vacation in this beautiful, charming city consider staying at Hopkins House.
