Built in 1840, the Mas de Crau has given its name to several cottages refurbished and located in the heart of Provence, near Avignon. The Haras was established in 2004 and the Polo Club des Alpilles there after. This way, you are coming to a young beautiful Poloclub in the middle of Provence.

The cottages have been refurbished following the original style. The interior design takes after the horse theme in a very refined way.

As you enter the property, you pass the training site and you can see the polo field ahead. The first impression you get is one of a respected nature. The swimming- pool is surrounded by bamboo hedges all year round.

Two centenarian plane trees give a nice shade to the terrace where you can relax on the deckchairs listening to the soft sound of the fountain and cicadas.

You can smell mediterranean fragrances all around the house with its private and quiet terrace on each side of the cottages. Spring time sees roses and apple trees blossom up all around the property.

Tranquillity and relaxation are the main qualities of Saint Estève property. For those who love nature, you can choose between exploring the Alpilles, discovering the typical villages in the surrounding or exploring the haras with its beauty and their horses.

After 4.5 km you reach the motorway E174 and Avignon is located only 30 minutes away. You reach the regional park Alpilles after 16 km. The Camargue Regional Park is 90 minutes. The Mas de Crau has given its name to the cottages located on Saint-Estève property. Built in 1840, it has been refurbished by David Bouclier to stay as close as its original style. The living rooms are situated on the ground floor. On one side, you have the sitting and dining room, which comprises of a beautiful fire place, a Billiard table and a large dinning table where all meals can be taken with your family or friends. The ceiling with its wooden beams is typical of the Provençale style. On the other side, a large breakfast room opens on to the kitchen fully equipped. On the 1st floor, you will find 4 double bedrooms refurbished by David Bouclier with references to the horse world. There are all very comfortable with king sizes bed, 3 bathrooms with bath tubs and one with a shower room

Very Charming Poloclub

This is an really excellent poloclub, situated near avignon. The standard of accomodation is superb, and the houses wonderfully clean and up to date.
There multiple houses on the poloclub and all of them have a different charm. We rented the biggest one, the mas de crau. It was fantastic. The kids could play billiard in the livingroom while we were sitting in the dining area and we also loved the beautiful big kitchen. The four bedrooms were very comfortable and had each an en suite bathroom which gave us perfect privacy. Our kids could already get up in the morning and play in the livingroom while we were sleeping fantastically.
Though being communual, the pool was also very nice. As most of the other parties were doing daytrips, we were there on our own most of the time and enjoyed it. The animals there were also terrific. We were surrounded by wonderful horses, there was always something to do there. We will surely come back!!!
