Symi is about 40 kilometers from the island of Rhodes, and 5 kilometers from the Turkish coast. Its houses are neoclassic, and its port and architecture are amongst the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.

The property is 8 kilometers along the road, stretching along the backbone of this small island (14 kilometers long), and set above a calm and cultivated valley belonging to the monastery. The two houses are decorated to a very high standard; they have been featured in Architectural Digest and Elle Deco.

The English housekeeper can prepare light lunches to take to the seaside, and three dinners per week. A gardener maintains the grounds. There is main electricity and very good phone service.

The sea is transparent and warm, and small boats have access to the beaches. The terraces are great for entertaining.
