Where the Dunmanus Bay opens up to the sea, where the long swells of the Atlantic break on the islands, here is Ballyvonane House with a view of Mizen Head and Sheeps Head, which border the end of the bay to the west.
Ballyvonane House is a part of Cashelane Farm, where Angus cows and the famous Connemara ponies are bred. Seven kilometres of coast invite you to go on long, uninterrupted walks over the paths from the farm. Horses are ready for experienced riders on request:
From all rooms of the farm, you will have a 180 degree panorama view of the bay and the Atlantic. The house has approx. 350 m2, with a separate wing for the bedrooms. All 5 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, a 6th bedroom is optional. The house has two large kitchens, large flat screen TV, telephone, fax and internet access.
A play house with pool, billiards and foosball is an attraction - not just for children.
