Relax in 2 bdrms with queen beds and new luxury bedding, each with french doors to the 39' front porch. You won't feel cramped in our large bathroom. Relax outdoors on our two decks, with ceiling fans and over 60 feet of space, or indoors with our 42-inch HDTV, WIFI, large living/dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen. Park your car in our reserved, off-street space, and forget about it for the rest of your stay. Walk 10 minutes to Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park, the best beach in Key West, using our free family pass to the park and beach. Or walk 1 minute to our heated and cooled pool. Walk two blocks to Ernest Hemingway's home, two blocks to famous Duval St, and 8 minutes to Mallory Square.

Notes: We are very proud of our home in Key West and take great care of it. You will find everything in excellent condition. If for some reason it is not, you can not only contact our management company to get an immediate fix, but you can contact us (the owners) directly. Our pool is heated in the winter and chilled in the summer. It sits at the end of the complex's beautifully landscaped park. A 10 minute walk takes you to the gorgeous and secluded beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State park, and we include a free family pass for admission to the park. Other Key West attractions are also within a 5-10 minute walk: Hemmingway's house, Duval St, Mallory Square.

The condo was great. Accurate description. Owner contacted us prior to our stay offering any info needed. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Great layout with 2 porches front and back. Pool was perfect for our 2 year old. Location was perfect to downtown/piers and Fort Zach State Park....5-10 min walk to each.

This condo is in a top notch location. We could walk to everything, and were close to the best beach on the island. The condo itself was nicely decorated and very clean. We especially appreciated all the extra towels on hand. Because it is in the Truman Annex, we could get away from the hustle and bustle when we wanted to, and it was quiet at night. In order to enter, you have to climb a full set of stairs, so it would not be good for someone with those difficulties. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this condo.

Shipyard Treasure was a Pleasure!

Despite quite a few rainy days, my husband and I really enjoyed our Key West vacation because this property was just great! The pictures online were accurate. The kitchen was a little smaller than I expected (not a problem since I wasn't cooking), but the bathroom was bigger. For us this was a nice surprise. The floors were a little dirty, but there were cleaning products so we just swept them quickly. Otherwise the place was very, very clean and comfortable. It is in a super convenient location if you like Old Town. You can walk to all the fun of Duval Street from one end to the other. The neighborhood is lovely, and it's only a 10 minute walk to the state park beach. I thought this beach was even nicer than Bahia Honda. Definitely will stay here again! The rental people and the owners made sure everything was taken care of for us.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind review Melissa. I have investigated why the floors were not clean for your arrival. Seems a work crew was putting out the deck furniture after the cleaning crew had just cleaned. We'll make sure that doesn't happen again.
