Owner's Response: I am so sorry that you didn't thoroughly enjoy the stay -

I strive to ensure that the house is comfortable and fully outfitted for each tenant and that the grounds are well kept -

1) With the ocean breeze and typically temperate weather, (we don't usually have "Southern" heat) - we usually have little need for A/C units - there is no central A/C in the house, but great ventilation, ceiling and window fans and a window unit is available for a fee.

2) Keeping the kitchen fully outfitted is a struggle for weekly rentals - things do disappear - I strive to ensure that everything is there, and am always willing to quickly replace something that goes missing upon request. I add new quality pots and pans each summer as well as other cooking/baking dishes and check inventory at each turnover.

3) The back yard is not a garden - weekly rentals make maintenance difficult - There is a small well tended grass area with an outdoor shower along one side of the house and a large stone patio with a large picnic table and charcoal grill as well several extra patio chairs. Other tenants have enjoyed the sunny extra outdoor living space directly off the kitchen and the privacy provided by the fence and privet surrounding it. The gardens along the driveway and in front of the units are beautiful (they had not matured at the time of your visit as I was the new owner).
