Secluded outdoor vacation retreat! New stylish contemporary home for relaxation and active outdoor vacations! Secluded 2 acre wooded lot - and you can cross country ski, bike and hike out the door into the Monongahela National Forest; 500 yards off Hwy 32, 3 mi. to Davis, 5 mi. to skiing at Timberline, Canaan Valley, Whitegrass XC Center. The house is a contemporary design with European touches. Interior features an open floor plan, bright maple flooring, nine foot ceilings, lots of windows to bring in morning and afternoon sun, and stylish new furniture and decorations throughout. Chef's kitchen features a large island, two ovens, two sinks, soapstone counter tops, cherry cabinets and stainless steel appliances. First floor also features living room fireplace and a large walk-out deck with hot tub. A separate play room has a large flat screen TV, ping pong table, and giant bean bag chairs.

On the second floor there are four bedrooms - two master suites with private baths, and two others with bunk beds (1 full + 1 twin), and shared bath + tub. All bedrooms feature bright maple floors and a mix of new and vintage furnishings. Easy in/out of the house and into the wooded outdoors via large front entry hall has large closets and custom-made bench with shoe compartments. Also - the heated attached garage makes winter coming/going easier! Wooded 2.2 acre lot provides seclusion and natural feel. The Monongahela National Forest is 200 feet away on access road adjacent to property, and has miles of trails for cross country skiing -- try a 5 or a 17 mile route all the way to Blackwater Falls State Park for dinner!

Amenities: Newly completed house, available for rent from December 2007; 3 TV plus DVD (1 wide screen). Cable TV; Wireless Internet; Gas Fireplace. Stereo: CD player and 4 in-ceiling speakers; 4 wheel drive is recommended for the winter months.
