We are just steps away from the boardwalk, sand and ocean, yet the horseshoe shape of the Surf Rider building offers occupants privacy as well. This unit even has its own rooftop deck for a spectacular and secluded view. The central patio is the only one in Mission Beach with a hot tub right on the boardwalk. Lounge chairs and BBQ grills also adorn the patio, so you can take a break from the beach but still enjoy the ocean. Dolphins and sometimes even whales play in the waves just in front of the condo out in the surf. People watching is great too! From surfers in the water to people making their way along the boardwalk there is always something fun and interesting to see! Many attractions are within walking distance, including Belmont Park, the famous Wave House, and several restaurants & boutiques

Nearest Airport: Lindbergh Field at 7 Miles
The Surf Rider is in a very convenient location for many great San Diego attractions! Obviously Mission Beach and Mission Bay are just steps away, and Pacific Beach is a short walk up the beach. Pacific Beach has tons of restaurants and hip shops to visit when you want a break from the beach. Sea World is also only a couple of miles away and easy to get to. Belmont Park, with it's historic roller coaster, and The Wave House are just 1/2 a mile south of the condo, also with great shops and a fun atmosphere for any age! If you want to venture a little further away, downtown San Diego, and Fashion Valley are only about 10-15 minutes away by car. The San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park are a short drive away. Some other great San Diego attractions are the Wild Animal Park and Lego Land. They are a bit further of a drive, but worth it!

We stayed in Unit H during the first week of April and thoroughly enjoyed everthing about our stay, including the condo with the fantastic views of the ocean and modern, upscale amentities; the fantastic rooftop deck which was great for the cooler evenings and even nicer views; the jacuzzi which we used every day and evening for sunset and Happy Hour; and the convenient location where you can walk for miles and miles on the beach or bay. Simone and Dominique were friendly, responsive and professional. The entire experience was 1st Class and we will be back! ;o)

What a great place! Beautiful condo with everything we needed. Amazing views from the condo and the rooftop deck was great to relax and watch the sunset and all the boardwalk activity. The location is fantastic. Our boys were out on the beach every morning and every evening before we left for dinner. And we saw dolphins playing in the surf almost every day. We would definately return!
