Private Resort at the end of the road

The house was as described and very nice, the location is pretty cool, up a very steep and curvy road overlooking the Pacific. It is a bit remote, so you spend a bit of time in the car to do almost anything besides enjoy the house. We were visiting in February and the weather on this side of the island quite how you expect a pacific island, it clouds up every day and the wind blows hard. Also the pool is heated with a solar system that consists of a bunch of pipes in the black driveway, which in the summer is probably great, but in the winter the pool is pretty cold.
The pool area though is amazing for a private home. The landscaping, flagstone patio, hot tub, ponds, river and hotel like slide are very nice. I wish we could have stayed at the property in the summer when it is warmer and we could really have enjoyed all these incredible features.
The house is in very good condition, the interior is high-end mid eighties architecture, it could use an update, only from a style perspective though, it is in great shape.
Overall I would recommend this property for a family or two families that want privacy and their own private pool/spa/slide experience. It is a short drive to a beach, 15 minutes. This place is cool in the winter and so windy you don't want to be outside after the mid-afternoon which made the outdoor features nice to look at but not available which was a disappointment, including the BBQ, because the wind blew out the gas flames.
