About Andrew Susemichel
I am a mechanical engineer and president of an energy engineering company E-Max. My family and I need a place to get away to relax from a high stress work atmosphere. Lake Toxaway and the lakefront mountain retreat is ideal for private relaxation on the largest private lake in North Carolina.
Andrew Susemichel purchased this house in 1994
Why Andrew Susemichel chose Lake Toxaway
We stayed at vacation places nearby at Fairfield Lake in Cashiers NC and decided we wanted our own lake vacation home. Lake Toxaway is the largest private lake in North Carolina and one of the few lakes that the lake level changes a very small. Other lakes levels change because of hydroelectric power plants etc.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at your home on Lake Toxaway. There were lots ways to have fun for my husband, three adult children, their spouses, our grand-daughter and me.
The house was great.....4 distinct sleeping/bathroom areas, a spacious great-room with a large TV that over-looks the lake and a good sized, well stocked kitchen. Everything was first class.
The yard was awesome.... We set up a badminton net and has some friendly (well mostly friendly) competition and used the additional space for whiffle ball and frisbee.
The boat was tons of fun....we drove around the lake, tubed and fished from the boat and from the dock.
The area is beautiful. Away from the house, we enjoyed Sliding Rock, visited a number of waterfalls in the area and played golf one day.
The accommodations were just right for us and you made the reservation and coordination process very easy.
