This classic vacation Chalet sits on a beautiful, private lot. The gated community of Arrowhead Lakes has plenty to offer all year round.

Choose from 3 pools. The one closest to us was renovated in 2008 and offers a world of fun for the little ones. There are two lakes offering swimming, boating and fishing, as well as numerous playgrounds for the kids to explore.

State gamelands are close by for those who like to hunt, as well as the Pocono Raceway for those who like things a little faster. Go horseback riding or whitewater rafting, golfing or hiking. You can even go visit an indoor water park nearby. There's lots to do in this great area of the Poconos.

And for those that love the snow...Jack Frost and Big Boulder are just down the road, while Camelback is about 18 miles away. Just a bit further and you can be at Sno Mountain. Snowed in? Just stay home and walk to the community sledding hill to have a blast without even having to shovel out the car.

Regardless of what activity you choose, you can come home to relax in the quiet serenity of this streamside lot. And there's plenty of room for two families to vacation together (and still like each other at the end of the stay!).

Additional Fees: Arrowhead Lake does charge renters two additional fees as described below:

A $25 fee is charged per vehicle for gate passes. Gate passes cannot be shared by multiple vehicles. Information must be provided at least one week before arrival. Upon arrival, you will be asked to present your drivers license and current registration.

All renters, ages 7 and up, are required to purchase wristbands to be worn/displayed at all amenities from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Fees are $8.00 per person per day, or $30.00 per person per week. After Labor Day and before Memorial Day Weekend, renters may purchase (optionally) wristbands to attend functions/events for $3.00 per day or $15.00 per week.

Why Carolyn George chose Arrowhead Lake

We fell in love with this property because of the stream running alongside and the privacy this feature provides. Across the stream is simply woods that eventually open up into the fields of the Clubhouse. The house itself feels spacious and warm.

What makes this chalet unique

The privacy afforded by the stream and woods is our favorite feature. We also love the peacefulness of being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the areas close to the pools and beaches. We are centered between two different beaches with a short walk of 0.9 miles to either one. This aspect may appeal to some and not to others, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place.

Arrowhead Lakes is in a great area of the Poconos. This gated community has 3 pools, 2 lakes, tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds and a great sledding hill. Close by you'll find skiing, horseback riding, hiking, bicycle trails, shopping, hunting, golf, and the Pocono Raceway.

everything was within a reasonable distance, place was roomy even tho there were 11 of us, owner was willing to help and answer all my questions every step of the way. Great place to stay. Will definitely go back again.

Fall Vacation in the Poconos

This vacation home is ideal for those wanting to get away yet have all the comforts of home.It is clean, comfortable and has plenty of room. We were only two people and used only one of the three floors in the place. The owner is wonderful to work with. All interactions were more than satisfactory.
We were able to ride our bikes along the tree lined roads and around two lakes which are a part of this gated community. Very safe and beautiful. This home is conveniently located to many attractions. We rode our bikes on the Lehigh Gorge Bike trail which starts in White Haven, 12 miles, from the house. We hiked Bushkill Falls which is about 45 minutes to the East. The Jack Frost National Golf Course and skiing resort is just 7 miles from the house. We will definitely tell our friends about this great place in the Poconos and we plan on returning. We may try a different season. There is so much to do around there.

Lots of people... Lots of space

We were lookinf for a nice palce that would accomodates MANY kids and this was perfect. They all got to relax in their own space and we all still had room to spread out. Its a nice quiet area and we are looking forward to going again.

Such A Wonderful Rental!

We rented the property for a couples weekend and had a GREAT time! The house is very clean, neat and perfect for a large group such as ours. It was even bigger then we thought and everyone was so pleased with it. We loved how fully stocked it was with everything we needed and more. Carolyn was such a helpful and pleasant owner to deal with. It's very private and was close enough to the mountains and area attractions. It was also very affordable and we hated leaving! I would definitly recommend others to stay here!

What a Find!

My fiancee' and I stayed the weekend and had a wonderful time. The owners directions are very clear and accurate. The property was beautifully maintained and the owners provided excellent customer service. We stopped in Jim Thorpe, PA on the way and spent the afternoon discovering a fun new town. On Saturday we walked around the community and found a great sledding hill near the house. We also walked to the lake. Later we went tubing at Camelback Ski Area and had drinks at the Barley Creek Brewing Company. By the end of the night we were snuggled by the fireplace enjoying the rest of our time.
