We reside near the southern gateway to Chinatown on historic Grant Ave., the oldest street in San Francisco. We are just 4 blocks from the Union Square shopping mecca. Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 are just a short cable car or bus ride away. Or catch a cable car every 10 min. just steps from our door and you can go anywhere!

This apartment is in the heart of Chinatown and very close to all attractions of San Francisco ... You can go everywhere by foot or public transportation (we loved cabble cars and the line F !!) It was great !! The apartment is very clean, spatious and very quiet ...
We were 3 persons (a couple and our 15 old years daughter) and it was perfect !! If we come back to San Francisco, we'll rent gain this apartment !!

It was a little difficult to find if you're just driving by but why would you want to drive around this area any way? It's so close to all the major attractions by foot and even then the public transportation is really close too if you wanted to get some where a little further away. The property is super clean and more spacious than it appears to be from the photographs. The owners provided great customer service and fast communication and transactions. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and wouldn't mind staying here again next time I am up in San Francisco! By the way, I love the fire escape and the view ;)

A Lovely City Home

This apartment was a treasure to find. At a central location in SF, it was incredibly easy to walk or use MUNI, taxis, BART or the Cable Car to get around to events. When at "home" it was very relaxing, well lit, with great views, and a clean, comfortable, setting. Making the accommodations was a breeze, with excellent customer service. I would recommend this to anyone fit enough to walk the two flights of stairs up to the apartment. I hope to rent from the owners again. We felt like we were part of the neighborhood. Great water pressure and fast hot water; well appointed kitchen. We were only two people but I can see how it would be comfortable for three or four. While our afternoons and evenings were spent out and about, relaxing over our morning coffee and planning our day in the mornings at the apartment was an equally delightful part of our days. And we slept well. There are plenty of city noises (we like the ding, ding, ding of the cable cars), but the apartment building itself is quiet.

Great San Francisco value

If your looking for an amazing location, clean, envio-concious, I doubt if you can beat this value accomodation. Whether you enjoy being a total tourist or just blending in, everything you want to see in San Francisco is very close.
Walk over two blocks and catch the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf, rent a bike there and cycle to the Golden Gate, then walk over to Ghirardelli Square, re-energize yourself at the chocolate factory (try the "drinking chocolate" if you like dark chocolate) then walk up the hill to the "crookest street" on Lombard Street and take the cable car home.
Rent a car for a day and go to the Napa Valley. Even if your not a wine fan, the trip makes a very nice day picturesque trip ... try to research the "off the beaten track" wineries, friendly, knowedgable, down to earth staff are happy to pour you samplings of their current vintages, for very reasonable fees and sometimes free.
The selection of restaurants within a few blocks offer a wide selection of foods.

Great Location! Nice view!

Being right in the heart of San Francisco's Chinatown is great! The apartment itself is bright, airy and feels spacious as it overlooks a nice park.

One downside is that the apartment is up two flights of stairs and has no elevator. In general I was satisfied with my stay as my dog was welcome, and the owners were responsive to our needs.
