Winter Information: The closest ski area, the ski resort of St. Martin and about 1 kilometer away from the Göglgut. The St. Martin is a small ski resort and is suitable for beginners or families with young children. A total of 5 km of pistes on offer. For cross country skiers there is mild to moderate trails. The trail network is well developed with 35 kilometers. A cross-country ski run is right outside Göglgut. In addition to classic skiing ice skating, sleigh rides and snowshoe walks are offered at St. Martin still. A bigger ski area is the ski resort Dachstein-West. The Dachstein-West is about 10 kilometers away from the hut and can be reached by ski bus. In the ski resort Dachstein-West 140 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes on offer. Kindergartens and ski schools are available. For children there are many fun Kinderskicamps. Cross-country skiing are available with a total length of 215 kilometers. Numerous huts invite you to homemade soups, delicious Brettljausen and so all sorts of savory.
Summer Information: The Göglgut located at the foot of the Tennen Mountains and is therefore an ideal starting point for many hikes. The landscape is diverse and there is much to discover. Cultivated pastures invite you to snack with homemade bacon, bread and butter. For a family adventure hike is offered weekly. When hiking experience there is much to learn about nature, land and people. On hot summer days, a visit is in St. Martin in the Marine Park. The Marine Park consists of a biological lake with excellent water quality. Further attractions are a large trampoline, beach volleyball court and a giant water slide. These are divided into two doubles and two quadruple. The quadruple rooms are equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed for two people.
