Unparalleled Caribbean Experience

I've been coming to the BVI for years and always saw this spectacular house from a distance. Who would have thought that actually staying in it would so far exceed my expectations?? Literally, there is no house on all of Tortola so close to the beach, and since it's the last house on the busy Cane Garden Bay, not many people bother to come close so it feels completely private. There's not many scenic places on the island where you can have that privacy, yet be able to actually walk to bars, restaurants, not to mention a little grocery store (compared to the somewhat crazy driving experience). The main room of this house is so open and airy, and each bedroom is contained and has air conditioning and ceiling fans so no worries about sleeping in a hot room. The master bedroom has this crazy outdoor shower too. I wish I could take it home with me!!! Such a tasteful, classic home, especially compared to the newer rental places with so little character. This place has such unique character, I feel so lucky that it's available as a rental and I am telling all of my friends that they need to stay here.
Also, the owner, Jane, could not have been more accommodating and informative. I don't think she lives on the island but she has a great staff of managers and housekeepers who keep it in great shape. Still, it's not the type of luxury that one would expect from a full service hotel. Go to Frenchman's Cay or Peter Island Resort for that. This is a much more unique experience.
