FIND YOURSELF...

Majestically set on the side of Candyland Mountain, nestled in the shadow of Mt. Pisgah on 15 private wooded acres. Situated in an old Appalachian Forest abounding with: White Rhodendron edged in pink, Flame Azaleas, and Poplars surround the lodge with 180 degree views of beauty on every side. As the leaves fall, the mountain radiates with hues of reds, oranges, greens and purples. Take a hike to the top of the mountain or sit and relax in the hot tub (30 jets).

Our 2900 sq foot lodge sleeps up to 12. This Tri-level lodge has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. The cabin has 2 long rocking chair porches: one on the entry and other on the lower level for outside gas BBQ's. Each level has beautiful views. The entry level contains: Master Suite with Queeen bed, walk-in closet, full Kitchen, Dining area for 8 at the table, 4 at the breakfast bar, laundry room with half bath, family room with gas fireplace and cathedral ceilings. The lower level contains full-size bunk beds(sleeps 4)and a game room/bedroom with full length porch. The upper level has a large loft, private large bedroom with a full bath. About Candy Boehm

Hi, my name is Candy. Welcome to Candyland Lodge. I have lived in Western North Carolina for 32 years & I love this place. The breathtaking scenery & the peace you feel surrounded by Mountains. I raised my large family of 6 in these mountains, and I always feel them calling me back when I have been away. I am a Critical Care/ER Travel RN. In my Travels I've had the priviledge of staying in many nice places, and Candyland Lodge is where I always come back to to relax and am always able to leave the rest of the world at the door. I welcome your family's, business associates and church retreats to Candyland Lodge, Where were making amazing memories for all who experience a stay with us.

Why Candy Boehm chose Candler

In 2007, I built Candyland Lodge to provide a place to relax, kick back and enjoy this peaceful mountain. I wanted a place that would showcase the incredible views that this place has to offer. This is a place for couples, small and large families, church retreats or corporate gatherings. The Lodge is 15-20 minutes from Biltmore Estates, Maggie Valley and downtown Asheville all which have great shopping, restaurants and local sites to see.

What makes this cabin unique

The property is very private, but close to Asheville. It is wonderful to sit on the porch, sip your coffee, grill out, have a drink and experience the serenity that only 15 private acres can offer. I invite you to make some amazing memories as you breath in the fresh mountain air, the sweet scents of honeysuckle, mountain laurel and woodsy aromas that permeate the air. Enjoyable Visit!

We had a very enoyable visit at CandyLand Lodge. We'd recommend it! The house was clean, welcoming and cozy. I loved the long porch with views and rocking chairs. The kids had a ball in the hot tub and playing with the game table. There is a grocery store within 5-10 minutes of the house which was convenient. The driveway leading to the house is pretty steep so just be careful when driving up! Thank you for a great stay.

Our family stayed at the Candyland Lodge for the first time this year. The property was absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and more than what we expected! The inside felt like home immediately upon our arrival. The inside was extremely well furnished with everything that we needed and it is very well kept. The location was very central to everything we wanted to visit in the Pisgah National Forest, Asheville and more. I would highly recommend Candyland Lodge to any family with very young to older children and any group events. Candy is more than hospitible and was there if we needed anything.

Our family hopes to visit North Carolina in the future and stay here again.

Beautiful views!

I was so impressed with this cabin. My niece and I drove up from Florida and stayed a week during the spring time last year. The weather was warm and the cabin was so peaceful and quiet! I still think about how breathtaking the views were from the double decks. The place is huge and well decorated. My niece and I enjoyed the board games and hot tub. The drive to Ashville was quick and driving through the rolling hills and open space was just wonderful! This was an amazing oppurtunity to spend some well deserved time with family, and we will be back! Thank you Candy for being so kind and helpful we really enjoyed your place!

Great Stay

We had a group at Candyland Lodge to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday the first weekend in December. Candy and her staff were very attentive and accommodating, she even let me borrow an onion as I had forgotten one for my pot of chili. Candy had met us at the Cabin (which was all decorated for Christmas) and showed us how to work all of the electronics, heating, fireplace etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was really enjoyable. Everything was clean and comfortable. The property is VERY private and the views from the porches are wonderful! The only thing I can say wasn't quite perfect was the pullout couch mattress could be in better condition, but it is about what you might expect from a pullout couch. If you are going away with a family or a larger group, definitely stay at Candyland!

We had a Wonderful Stay!

Everything was just as pictured and clean everywhere. Candy even left us pound cake for breakfast. It was so relaxing and like being on a mountaintop in seclusion. We had a house full of people and still plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Thanks for the stay and beautiful property.
I would totally recommend going downtown. We had the pleasure of running into Andie McDowell and she was gracious enough to take pics with our bridal party. Awesome.
