Our cottage is oceanfront in lovely Orrs Island, Maine. Sunrises are full of red, orange and golden skies within view from an elevated cedar deck, overlooking the bold open ocean. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinners on your private oceanfront lawn or deck. Spectacular ocean views can be found around every turn in this spacious cottage. Adirondack chairs sit oceanside for reading on lazy days or for watching a nautical show of lobster boats, sailboats and motorboats. A Vermont Castings gas grill located in an alcove on the deck is perfect for your favorite summer meal. Create your own Down East Clambake with Maine lobsters in your large lobster pot. The first floor master bedroom with a king size bed enjoys a panoramic view of the ocean. In 2007 we renovated the first floor master bathroom adding Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, New England beadboard, and an antique style four-legged console sink. In 2008 we renovated the den and the master bedroom.

Nearest Ferry: Bailey Island at 4 Miles
Nearest Train: Brunswick at 10 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 0.1 Miles

The area is perfect for bicycling, jogging, golf, sea kayaking and fishing. You can fish for sea bass right off the rocks in front of the cottage, or arrange an excursion with a local guide. A number of beautiful and accessible golf courses are within a drive. Launch kayaks from a nearby beach and sea-kayaking tours are a walk away. A number of fine restaurants in Brunswick will serve you on your nights out. The cottage is within driving distance of Brunswick, Maine, home to Bowdoin College, is thirty-five minutes from outlet shopping in Freeport, Maine, and less then an hour from historic and beautiful Portland, Maine. Whale watching excursions can be arranged in Portland. Other attractive coastal communities including Bath and Wiscasset await your exploration. The Portland Sea Dogs, the Red Sox Triple A farm club, are your nearby boys of summer. The cottage is equipped with a washer and dryer, high speed Internet access (bring your laptop), cable television and DVD player.

The views (sunset, sunrise, moonlight) from this place are simply awesome. It's well equipped for family gatherings, outdoor entertaining, grilling, sunning and relaxing. This home is nicely situated for walks to dining and shopping, kayaking, fishing, tidepool adventures and the like. The ocean front lawn is huge! It's truly a place meant for shared times with family and friends and has the floorplan and furnishings to accomodate. The owner is great and has paid attention to the details that make a difference. Really comfy beds!
