You never have to get in your car or leave the beach! Rent bikes and ride to the Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center located in the Ventura Marina or ride the bike path to the Pier/Old Town Ventura or up to Santa Barbara/Ojai, if you're game. Hop on board one of the cruise boats that take you out to the Channel Islands for a truly great adventure. Whale watching cruises during the winter are a must.
Downtown~Old Town Ventura while not a specific activity, downtown Ventura is a veritable cornucopia of treats for the eyes, ears, mind, and, of course, stomach.
A delightful and accessible town center, it is replete with wonderful shops, myriad restaurants to suit any palate and budget, art galleries, museums, concerts and casual musical performances, a historic City Hall (Ventura is the County seat of government), and a charming park in which to relax and take in the whole experience. 'Nirvana' amenities include state of the art TIVO television,music, system, Internet DSL & wifi, Washer/dryer.
. Luxury custom linens and towels are included. The master bedroom suite (pictured) is on the third (top) floor, and has an KING size Sleep # bed. The bedroom is a loft with a shoji screen for privacy.
The guest suite includes a trundle bed (2singles).
Special features include a fireplace, full gourmet kitchen, and 350 square-foot deck off the living/dining area.
The deck is set up for lounging, reading, relaxing, and dining under the stars.
'Nirvana' is an ideal get-away for those discerning few. Everything is provided to make your stay a memorable one, including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and coolers. Just bring your surf/boogie boards or rent them at the Surf Shop on Seaward. 'Nirvana' is adjacent to the San Buenaventura State Beach Park with walking trails, volley ball courts, bike rentals & much more. Once back home rinse off under our outside hot/cold water shower.
Please Note: The structural design of our home precludes having older/handicapped adults unable to climb stairs. 'Nirvana' may not be suitable for small children/adults who have difficulty climbing stairs.
