An open-floor plan house with amazing views of the lake and mountains will result in a serene vacation getaway with tons of fun activities for all ages. The local entertainment includes great skiing. From starter mountains like King Pine to more advanced family mountains such as Attitash and Wildcat, you are sure to have the best skiing of your life. If skiing is not your thing you can enjoy ice skating or ice fish in the backyard. In addition, sleigh riding can complete your vacation. Winter is not the only exciting season in New Hampshire you can enjoy many activities throughout the year. Canoeing and swimming in the backyard beach. Hiking scenic waterfalls like Diana's bath and Kangamangus. Scenic railroad rides. For example, the world renowned Cog Railway that will climb 6,288 feet to the top of Mount Washington. Even Storyland a local amusement park can entertain your family. This area will provide you with great restaurants, outlet shopping, and even a great night life.

Great Getaway Location

This home is excellent for a getaway for any reason. It is clean, spacious, it has all the comforts of home. If you love a gas firestove during the winter, you will love this home especially when you come in from the cold. The views from the back of the home are spectular...you look out over a lake and mountain area. The location is great if you want to do any type of winter and/or summer sports (right down the street is a family ski area and you are not far from the White Mountains trails for hiking, etc). Also, it is great if you would love to shop; North Conway outlets are only 15 minutes away. The owners were very responsive to any request we had. I would recommend this property to anyone. It is such a great getaway. I know my family and I felt very refreshed when leaving....actually we did not want to go!
