This bright & clean ranch is completely renovated w/cathedral ceilings & skylights throughout. Located on a private road we are the 4th house (99 yards) from the warm private deeded beach on the Nantucket Sound that you may use during your stay. Ocean views from the front yard and a flat private fenced in back yard with sprinkler system. A mild seaside breeze generally keeps the bugs away! Located in the center of Cape Cod, and a quaint cottage area you'll be able to explore the entire Cape. Lots to do: bumper cars & boats, mini golf, movie theater, antiquing, zoo aquarium. Convenience store, ice cream shop, & restaurants are all within walking distance. Just 15-20 min. from Hyannis Ferries take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket! The home has 3 bedrooms & a large fully equipped kitchen. Full bathroom plus an enclosed outside hot/cold shower w teak flooring and dressing room. 400 sq ft patio off the side of the house with plenty of outside seating. The kitchen, dining & family room are all open with a comfortable flow to it & a wood burning stove. Available year round this house is perfect off season too

LINENS-BED & BATH: If you are traveling light, or if you simply prefer the luxury of not having to bring your bed & bath linens. We wash them for you when you leave. We will provide linens and bath towels at an extra cost of $100 -- a service NOT usually provided on the Cape. *Please Note: Linen service does not include beach towels.

The Street-Restaurants & Ice Cream Parlor-Backyard: Location-Location-Location-Can’t beat this location. Come and park your car for the week! Located on one of Dennisport's only private dirt roads. It’s a nice street for kids & bikes. The home is set back just enough so that people walking up and down it to the beach can not take a 'peak' in the windows as they are walking by.

The Sailing Cow (0.4 miles away) -Great for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or an afternoon cocktail overlooking the beach. They also have a take out window. Come and park your car for the week! Dennisport is located in the mid-cape area of Cape Cod warm waters of the Nantucket Sound. Some beaches on Cape Cod have enormous dunes or cliffs. This home is literally 99 yards (less than a football field) from a private deeded beach on the Nantucket Sound. It's a flat walk with no dunes or cliffs to enter the beach. Within a 5 minute walk there are also two very small town beaches (Glendon and Haiges). The cottage is located on private street. Enjoy your evenings relaxing in the private flat backyard with an ocean breeze while gazing at the stars, away from the city lights. Lots of activities nearby: bumper cars & boats, mini golf, golf, whale watching, outlet shopping, antiquing, zoo quarium, arcades, batting & soccer cages, cafes & much more. Walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops, hot dog stands, seafood, mini grocery store.

Notes: Our home is the 4th house from our private deeded beach. It is located on a private road. We have a flat private fenced in yard with a sprinkler system. Our yard is great for outdoor games after a day at the beach. There is a large 400 square foot stone patio off the side of the house with patio furniture (seating for 6 plus extra chairs). Located on the patio is a large outside hot shower with teak flooring and a dressing room. Air conditioners will be on from late June through August.

Just a little note to say that we had a fabulous week in your lovely home. It was perfect and offered every convenience we could possibly need. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. The quiet surroundings and proximity to the beach were so well appreciated. We had great weather too. Thank you for a great getaway, we'll definitely be coming back!!

Fabulous vacation!

Thank you to Sarah and Doug for the use of your lovely vacation house! It was perfect for our young family of four. The beach was close enough for little legs to walk there and back. The yard was great for playing and grilling. The house was lovely and clean. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay again!

Great week

We had a great week at the Cape. Sarah and Doug's cottage was the perfect size for us. We had 3 adults and 2 children. The kids loved running around outside in the spacious yard. The beach was a quick walk down the road, so we often came back to the house for lunch. We visited "Sundae School" several times and enjoyed meals at many of the local resturants. The property was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups...Sarah and Doug were very friendly and organized.

Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The house was really cute and had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was wonderful! The property was clean and well maintained. The owners provided great customer service. They even purchased a gas grill for the cottage after we asked about the grill. The only thing that I can say that wasn't great was the master bedroom mattress. It was really soft and not very comfortable to sleep on. Other than that we have not complaints. We loved the fact that we could walk to and from the beach. It was great to have a yard to play yard games and for the kids to play.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice compliments. Doug and I do our best to listen to our rentals. We have just replaced the mattress in the master bedroom -May 2013.

Pre- season retreat

After travelling from the UK for a hectic week in New York it was lovely for me, my husband and student daughter to escape to this bright,clean, perfectly formed cabin. Sarah has thought of eveything that any holiday maker would need. Pre-season, the area was quiet and just what we wanted but I suspect will be bustling in a few weeks time. Peaceful beach walks a 'stone's throw' from the house and an excellent base for exploring all of Cape Cod.
We had one day of torrential rain and appreciated the stove which made the house warm and cosy and allowed us to enjoy the well stocked Video/DVD library.
Would love to return peak-season!
