Trade Winds has long been praised as uniquely appointed home where treasured memories are made. This 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath home was uniquely designed to accommodate large gatherings or intimate getaways. Featuring 3 Master Suites, this home features two living areas each with TV/DVD/VCR.

The topside living area seats 12 for meals with panoramic Gulf views; or gathers the entire family around the three-sided fireplace. Also topside is a romantic master suite including fireplace and quiet, cozy sunroom for reading or stargazing.

A well equipped kitchen offers sharp cooks' knives, Jenn Aire grill and serving and cooking utensils to help you prepare wonderful family reunion meals or beach picnics. An additional ice maker provides plenty of ice for everyone.

First level includes additional living area, book and video library, 2 additional Master Suites and a wet bar for early morning coffee or serving cold drinks to the kids on the deck.

Walk directly from the deck to the beach on our boardwalk and when you get back from a splash in the Gulf, relax with a hot outdoor shower under the blue skies. Sink into a deck chair on one of two levels of sun and shade decks furnished with resort-quality lounges and seating. Wonder at some of the most fabulous stargazing you may ever witness just steps from your bedroom. The Plantation enjoys a "dark sky" that reveals sweeping Milky Way views.

The location of Tradewinds is perfect in regard of Island activities, and beach. The view is perfect and the boardwalk made the walk down so much easier, will be great if you have small children. The house itself was very clean and as described, loved the elevator, nice touch for bringing in all your gear. The kitchen provided you with everything you needed to make a perfect meal. Plus a ice maker, that really got a work out in the 90 degree weather. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant and I would recommend this home to all my friends. We loved Harry A's and all the shops and Blue Parrot has always been a favorite. There is nothing not to like at St.George Island and the Tradewinds.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Tradewinds is a very wonderful place to stay. We arrived early, and the property was available right away. Beach was clean and quiet. The home was large and spacious and provided all the essentials we needed; just as if we were at home. I would recommend this property to anyone and if my plans to return to St. George Island are in my future, then I will most definately be seeking out Tradewinds. We had a couple of issues but the maintenance team responded promptly without any interruption in our vacation, and the maintenance team was very pleasant. The thing I enjoyed the most was waking up to a full view of the Golf, a good cup of coffee in hand, and the dolphins playing close enough to touch. Thank you Tradewinds for a most enjoyable stay.

A perfect vacation property. Smooth transaction, check in, and checkout. Everything was as advertised or better. Communication with leasing agent and owner was easy and nice. The house was clean and well furnished including the kitchen. Elevator was handy while bringing in things. The view was spectacular. Short distance to beautiful beach on the boardwalk. Overall, was a really nice experience.
(try Capt Snooks in Eastpoint for simple but delicious food)

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were all comfortable. House was clean. The elevator was especially useful. All of us enjoyed the 2 covered porches and patio furniture. One day we saw about 20 different dolphins playing in the water for hours in front of the house. The sun room reading room was very nice. Everyone loved the large dining table with the lazy Susan which was great for family card games too. The only problem we had was the refrigerator. They had to order a part that was to get there the day after we left. We definitely want to go back, and would recommend it to friends and family.

Great Location

This property is in a great location, very quiet area, feels secluded even with neighbors, beach front, beautiful views of the Gulf, but close to everything on the island. Marts, gas, and dining. Also, near Apalachicola for dining, shopping, Piggly Wiggly, and the wonderful unique Dixie Theatre. We (nine brothers, sisters, and spouses total) appreciated the elevator since we are all retired. The house was clean and comfortable. Especially the chairs on the balcony. The washer and dryer are a nice added touch. SunCoast Realty employees were easy to work with, friendly and pleasant. Also available is use of the pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts. However, we did not use any of these amenities. The owners were very helpful in giving us suggestions of where to eat, what to see and do, and instructions for checking in and getting vehicle passes. We would consider staying here again.
