Swimming & Fitness Center:
Work out facilities are located in the Huntley Lodge lower level, Shoshone Condominium Hotel health club and Summit fitness center. Outside condominium guests may use the Huntley Facilities. Huntley Lodge has a large outdoor swimming pool and two large outdoor jetted soaking pools.
Shoshone Condominium Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with lap lane and indoor hot tub connecting to pool for Shoshone guests, and Summit has a very roomy outdoor jetted soaking pool with entrance within fitness center for guests.
Dining, Nightlife and Lounges:
Big Sky offers dining options from sushi to wood fired pizzas to local wild game. Extensive wine lists, local micro brews and handcrafted desserts can also be found at many of our establishments.
When the sun goes down, the nightlife kicks up its heels with over 20 places to eat, drink and be merry. Chet's Bar & Grill hosts the Crazy Austrians variety show and live poker. Whiskey Jack's serves up live music every weekend.
Live bands, ski movies, local slide shows and family fun take over each night when the slopes close.
Shopping:
If you want to take a piece of the Rockies back with you, Big Sky has numerous shops filled with authentic made-in-Montana oddities as well as all the essentials to make your trip complete. Several full service grocery markets are in both the Meadow and Mountain Village. Big Sky Sports (virtual tour) 406-995-5840 in the Mountain Mall can equip you whether your day involves hiking, golf, horseback riding, or just an afternoon lounging by the pool. And don't forget those t-shirts for everyone back home. Stop by Provisions, the Big Sky Logo Shop or Outfitters while you're in the Mountain Village.
Ski:
Big Sky offers instant access some of the most diverse skiing and snowboarding amongst breathtaking vistas in the lower 48. Float down a 2,000 vertical foot, powder filled bowl beneath Lone Peak; Bob and weave through the Bavarian Forest; Ride the Lone Peak Tram for a bird's eye view of untamed wilderness.
Our snowboarding facilities bring you world class challenges no matter what your skill level. Our Swiss-made Zaugg Monster Pipe Cutter lets us fashion the only superpipe in the area. The Swifty and Pony Park are for people just getting their feet under them. The Ambush Park is for those who prefer not to have their feet under them at all.
You'll find almost twice as many acres as skiers. Out here, we like our elbow room.
