Golfers Paradise.....surrounded by Golf Course

We are a family of four, both kids are young and this town home was just perfect. Its easy to find / get into and out of - Park right in from of the garage and walk in! Makes loading and unloading a breeze.

It's three story, bedroom on 1, Kitchen and living areas on 2 and loft with beds for 3 on 3. We never used the loft other than my daughters american girl doll seemed to find those beds comfy.

Without a doubt the most organized rental I've every stayed at. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their home - light switches are labeled so its easy to tell what they do, TONS of storage and closet space for guests, Heating system is easy, water hot and the most kitchen utensils I've ever seen... ever LOL:-)

Note: Wifi is provided but At&t cell coverage is virtual mono existent... you have to drive down to road to get more than 1 bar.

PLUS the best are great - this is big for me as I have a bad back and can't sleep on saggy soft mattresses... Both the Master bedroom queen and the full in the second bedroom were on the firmer side and quite comfy.

Owners we extremely easy to communicate with... we intend to stay with them again!

My husband and I along with our grown boys (17 and 21 years) stayed in this home away from home for a week over Christmas. It was tastefully decorated for the holidays without a lot of frills. I find some homes so over-decorated that there's no room to put your own stuff. Each boy had their own space AND bathroom as there are 3 full bathrooms. I was so relieved I didn't have to share a bathroom with my boys! Yelch! The Wifi also worked in the entire home. The furniture, carpet and floors were clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows (we needed extra pillows to place under our knees as we have bad backs) which don't smell like too many heads have slept on them. Now the kitchen is another story: Fantastic! I would take up cooking if I already didn't! Everything you could need and then some. There's even plastic containers to store your leftovers which every family has leftovers. It's the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen. The ski resort is right around the corner, so I got to take the car into town and shop while the boys walked to the resort! The owners truly care about the comfort of their renters. We highly recommend this home and would feel very privileged to go back!

I have to continue the review posted by the owner from my email. I always intended to come back to VRBO and write a review even if a bit delayed. We stayed at this wonderful townhome in the spring of 2010. There were no reviews at the time so I was a bit hesitant until I talked to the owner about it. She was very charming and reassuring. I have to agree with other posters about Big Bear rentals - you never know what you are going to get. We drove up from San Diego for a two-night stay with my husband, our 6 year old daughter and 13 year old nephew. It was the kids first skiing outing ever and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The 3 floors were perfect for our needs. My nephew had his own private alcove upstairs, while my husband, me and daughter were downstairs. Everything you could possibly need was in the home and it was so very clean. So clean in fact that I think the owners have a dog but you'd never know it. My daughter has pet allergies and she had absolutely no reaction at all.

We loved the warmth and coziness of the townhome so much that we never went out to eat even though we had planned to ... instead I made all our meals in the very large and stocked kitchen. We left ski rental/lift coupons in the desk for the next guests, as the owners had put some in their for renters...and we did use them! I'm not sure if we are heading to Big Bear this year but for any future trips up to Bear Mountain I will definately be checking this propertie's availability before any other.
