Fully renovated in 2007 and located in a quiet inner courtyard, this studio flat is located in the middle of the city in a quiet street in the Schlachthofviertel in Munich's Isarvorstadt. Lovingly appointed with high-quality furniture, washing machine, wire-less broadband Internet connectivity (free), hair-dryer, iron and ironing board, cable TV, etc., this flat is ideal for a single person or couple. Stroll North along the river to the 'Deutsches Museum' or South to the zoo and the Flaucher. Walk to the Oktoberfest (4 blocks away) and stumble home. The bus 152 at the top of the road will bring you to Sendlinger Tor (major transportation hub) and the Viktualienmarkt in a few minutes. Or enjoy the walk into the historic city center (Marienplatz/Viktualienmarkt) in 15 minutes. Better yet, rent a bike and see the city as the locals do. Munich is designed for walking and biking. Forget the car. The public transportation is safe, clean and efficient

In the time we have had the apartment we have assisted our guests with (but not limited to) the following: English-speaking doctors/dentists, bicycle rental, mobile phone rental, birthday parties, hospital transfers, marriage counseling, crisis resolution, lost passports, lost wallets, keys left behind, etc.

Second Stay and Still Great

I spent one week in this apartment in 2006. This Summer my husband joined me while I worked in Munich for two weeks. The apartment was just as I had found it in 2006: clean, everything in order and bright. The apartment is very convenient for seeing the city and is so close to so much green! The Flaucher Biergarden became our second home! Having rented apartments in Rome, Paris and Stockholm, this was the best of them all. Anton keeps everything in great working order!

Fun in Munchen!

Munchen is great! The studio was located in the middle of the cool and trendy area frequented by students near the university. The studio has everything you need to see the city. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Marienplatz. The surrounding area is very safe and has interesting shops. I highly recommend the Italian restaurant near the entrance (we ate there every day).

Parking is difficult at best and not needed if you will be staying in Munchen. Thanks again.
