Otter village is located south of the Elbe estuary and, with the large green beach, its beautiful lakes, the historic old town and an exciting inland many opportunities for a relaxing and diversified vacation. The Wadden Sea off Cuxhaven offers as a world heritage site a unique experience. Visit the spa area of ??our brine pool or the indoor and outdoor pools of the adjacent Wingst. Helgoland and Neuwerk makes for unforgettable day visits, Cuxhaven, Hamburg, Bremen and Stade reached easily by car. Even in the immediate environs of Otterndorf there are bike rides to explore. For children there is a giant playground directly behind the dike. On the big lake is a large leisure center with numerous attractions and barbecue area, and a small water-plant. Even for athletes is catered for football and volleyball, basketball, canoeing, surfing, mini golf, skating and cycling in leisure offer. The neighboring town of Neuhaus offers a large modern water-plant. For cooler days, there are still the interesting play barn. For culture lovers there are in our historic Old Town, the Crane House Museum, the Old Latin School, the Johann Heinrich Voss House, the St. Severi church, the gatehouse, etc. The physical well being of restaurants and taken care of in the near Cuxhaven harbor directly with the best fresh fish and crabs from the cutter.
