We offer you all the comforts of home while you enjoy the mystery, beauty, and intrigue of the Yucatan. Constructed in 1998, this four-unit townhouse complex is located in the northeast sector of the city of Merida, Yucatan.

Each townhouse has two bedrooms -- each with a full en suite bathroom. On the main level, there is a two-piece washroom, a comfortable living room/dining room, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Each house has its own TV and DVD player. Watch local programs, or borrow movies from our extensive library of DVDs. We also have a large library of pocket books for your reading and relaxing entertainment.

Relax by our large swimming pool, or exercise in our 22-meter lap pool. Barbecue your dinner on the patio, while you enjoy music selected from our eclectic CD collection.

Pick up the bus just outside our front door and be in the center of the city in 25 minutes. Merida itself is a fascinating city with many dining and shopping opportunities.

We are a central point to many of the sacred Mayan sites including Chichen Itza, Uxmal, and Kabah. There are numerous other enchanting places to explore around the Yucatan Peninsula, most of which can be enjoyed as day trips, from your base here in Merida.

Oh, did we mention the number of great restaurants from which to choose? Sample native cuisine, as well as a great variety of continental cuisines. Some of the most out-of-the-way spots are the best. Come and share with us the magic of the Yucatan.

In Ka'an is very close to the major Mayan ruin sites as well as white sandy beaches a short distance to the north. There are fascinating little towns and villages, eco reserves, and historic centres all within an hour's drive or less.

A beautifully maintained private compound owned by a charming Canadian woman with the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality,The townhouse was spacious, well equipped and attractively decorated. The grounds and pool are lovely. Bonnie gladly takes you grocery shopping, arranges day trips and advises on a myriad of Merida resources and attractions. You truly feel "at home." Although a 30 minute bus ride (entertaining) from Merida's "Centro," it was perfect to come home every night to the quiet, gracious "In Ka'an" and just hang out. I'll return, probably next year, and recommend highly.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car
