TRAUMUNTERKUNFT IN HERVORRAGENDER LAGE

Ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem nicht fernab vom Schuss (in Pollensa findet man alles, um sich selbst zu versorgen oder um auszugehen). Mit dem Mietwagen sind wir fast täglich an den Strand in Pollensa gefahren. Insgesamt hat der Strand uns gut gefallen. Das Haus selber ist sehr sauber und wirklich schön. Den kleinen Pool (in einem auch sehr gepflegten Garten) haben wir häufiger spät abends noch für eine Abkühlung genutzt. Wirklich prima! Also unter dem Strich definitiv ein Urlaubsdomizil, das wir unbedingt weiterempfehlen!

Wir verbrachten 8 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Gegend. Die Villa war traumhaft, mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht, und bot jede Menge Platz. Der Swimmingpool war schön und sauber, und es gab eine tolle Grillecke. Man wohnt hier abseits der Haupttouristenzentren in einer familienfreundlichen Umgebung und sehr sicher.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Pollença is situated in north of the island in a fertile valley, surrounded of the 330m high mountain Puig Mary and the 170m high Puig de Calvari. Today the city lives primarily by tourism. They is also known as city of art and of the music. In the summer here an internationally known music festival is organized.

Central point of the narrow historic city with its winding alleyways is the quiet Placa Major on the main church of Nostra Senyora of the anglès, the is dedicated to the town saints.

Approx. 300m north-west from the main square the stairs that leads to the 170 m high Puig de Calvari going up begins.

The ascent on the Puig de Calvari is romantic, but sudorific. 365 stone steps, lined of cypresses lead up to the pilgrimage chapel. Equal to next to the chapel there is a café to rest with views over the city. Spectacular the outlook from one platform is right next to the church over the valley up to the sea.

Next outside, about 1.5 km at the Strasse to Palma, it goes up to the Puig de Santa Maria. The curvaceous and narrow road leads not approach until to the monastery but ends previously. There are also no parking, but only some holding bays on half height. You should therefore themselves adjust definitely on a longer foot march.

Merely on Easter Monday the locals make a pilgrimage on the Puig de Maria, to pay homage to of the saints.
