Perfect Old San Juan Location

5 of 5
Submitted: February 13, 2013 Stayed: February 2013
We spent three outstanding nights in this perfectly located apartment in Old San Juan. The five of us fit comfortably, and were able to use it as a great home base for our adventures in Old San Juan. It's close to good food, good bars, the ocean, and all the sights and attractions of Old San Juan. The apartment is spacious enough, and has all the comforts you need to have a great time. We even got in late, but the property manager was able to let us in and suggest a bar that ended up being a favorite. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a great value, great location, and great experience in Old San Juan.
Owner's Response: Thank you, David.
We are glad you had a great time and toke a moment to share your experience online. Hope to welcome you soon again. The Vida Urbana Team.

Great apartment in Old San Juan!

Submitted: July 9, 2012 Stayed: June 2012
My friends and I fully enjoyed staying in this quaint apartment in Old San Juan. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. During our week and a half stay we made great use of the kitchen and balcony. We loved the balcony space and spent most of our time there when at the apartment. It was wonderful retreating to the a/c in the bedrooms too, as it gets very hot there in the summer. The location was ideal as well, as everything was within walking distance, or a short trolley or bus ride away. Being on a girls trip, we felt very safe in this location. We loved our stay in Puerto Rico, and I am sure we will all be making a trip back some day, in which we would definitely consider staying in this location again! We would and will recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Old San Juan.

The Perfect Spot

This was a great rental spot right in the heart of Old San Juan. We stayed with our three kids and totally enjoyed it. The place was clean. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect. I loved the balcony out over the street. The service was also great- they met us with the key even though our flight did not arrive till almost midnight! It was only blocks away from the market and many many restaurants. I miss it already and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Old San Juan. Thank you so much for providing the perfect spot for a wonderful vacation!

A perfect home-base for your vacation

This comfortable little apartment in the heart of Old San Juan was cozy, convenient and affordable. We spent most of our time on the balcony when we were home, just taking in the sights and sounds of the wonderful city. There is a view of the bay from the balcony and a couple blocks walk will put you at the edge of the neighborhood overlooking the Atlantic and both historic forts. It was close to a grocery and a couple of drug stores, as well as plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a laundromat very close as well.
Parking was not the nightmare I expected it to be. We managed to always find spaces on the street (thought not necessarily close to the apartment) and never had to use the parking garages.
We traveled in January and never once turned on the AC. The windows and the ceiling fans allowed for a perfect temperature and nice air circulation.
If I have any complaint, it was that there were many vacation rentals on the street, and the people across from us were loud until 3am most nights. Earplugs took care of that. I was reluctant to use them though, because we seemed to have a pet coqui frog living in the courtyard behind our bathroom and kitchen who sang to us each evening and night. One of the loveliest sounds Puerto Rico has to offer.
All in all it was a comfortable stay and a great place to come home to from all of our day trips and nights out.
Our contact, Irma, was very helpful and answered all our questions.
Most likely I will travel to PR again, and most likely I will contact Vida Urbana again to handle my lodging. They were wonderful!
I already miss it...
