Offenbüttel is the Dithmarscher Switzerland near Albersdorf (Giant Wohld extensive woodland) in a wooded area and carries over to the Kiel Canal. There is a very nice restaurant right on the canal, a farm cafe near one riding, horse boarding. Dithmarschen for a one-off in the next town Quellenbad Bunsuh that feeds on its own sources of natural water. The channel is DIRECTLY at the house. Here you can walk or cycle for hours and watch the passing cruise ships. Towards Albersdorf (about 5 km) you will find a large forest area AÖZA-Stone Age village and all the major supermarkets. In Meldorf Bay about 25 km away from the house befiden the beaches of the North Sea, harbor and surfing lake. Excursions to Büsum, Husum, St. Peter-Ording, Schleswig, Kiel or in the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg provide a varied holiday.
