Bright apartment in Vienna city centre, 2 separated sleeping rooms for 2-4 pers.

This beautiful, bright, quiet and newly renovated flat has 60 m ² (650 square feet) and is thus clearly bigger than most 2-room flats. It provides enough space for up to 4 adults and a Baby. Families (e.g. 2 adults and 2 children) but also friends travelling together (e.g., 2 couples) prefer this flat, because there are two separate bedrooms and so there is enough privacy for everyone.

The apartment is located in a beautiful and also newly renovated Viennese house, which was built at the turn-of-the 19th/20th century and thus features the typical historical falir. The apartment itself features high-quality oaken parquet floors, new windows and a new bathroom. It has a small but completely equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave oven and Nespresso coffeemachine.

LOCATION:

The flat lies in a very pleasant and popular residential area in the 2nd district, which is well-known for its artists and 'Bobo ' scene. On the nearby 'Karmeliter' market, on Fridays and Saturdays a farm market takes place. The shopping infrastructure is very good, there is immediately around the corner a big, well sorted supermarket. On account of the situation (the windows of the big bedroom go to the quiet side lane lane Schrey, the smaller bedroom goes to the also quiet side lane Adambergergasse) the living/sleeping rooms are very quiet. Because of the big windows, both rooms are also extremely bright, but at night you can darken the rooms with curtains of course.

The flat is just around the Corner from the underground station 'Schottenring' (exit 'Herminengasse'), where the lines U2 and U4 cross - both lines are perfect to see practically all important sights in Vienna! And you can even walk into the 1st district = 'city centre' = historical city centre, which is just a walk of five minutes away.

For jogging and for children: The biggest historical baroque park of Vienna, the socalled 'Augarten', is only 50 metres away. It features a generous forest playground, a child swimming-pool, 2 top-class restaurants as well as a family-friendly bar directly in the Green - and only five walking minutes of the flat! And this park 'Augarten' is also home of the school of the famous 'Vienna Boys' Choir', which now also has a newly built concert hall in this park with very interesting cultural programme.

This flat is a heart project of me. I have searched a smaller apartment, which would have been cheaper. But when I saw this flat with the beautiful and bright Corner room and the big Windows, and the sunlight filled the rooms, I could not resist but to buy this apartment. This dream came true some years ago and I am glad that the guests appreciate the flat so much as I do. The apartment has such a friendly atmosphere! I am always glad about the comments of the guests: All our guests have enjoyed up to now all around to live here!

What makes this apartment unique

Two spacious, bright and quiet rooms and the very attractive location make this flat so special: Though it is only a short Walking distance to the city centre with the major tourist attractions, it is nevertheless not in the middle of the 'tourist bustle', but in an authentic Viennese residential area few minutes away from the so-called 'Karmeliter' market, which also is one of the most popular residential areas for Viennese people. In addition, the flat is connected perfectly to public means of Transportation, such as the metro system (with U2 and U4 even two lines!), trams and busses.

Great choice

A very good property in general with really nice atmosphere. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, easily accesible. 5 minutes walk from the metro, 15 minutes walk from the city center along or across the Danube canal. The apartment itself is pretty spacious, in particular the bedroom. It is well equipped, we found there everything we needed. On the top, Beate is a very helpful and professional host. It was a pleasure to meet her. When we come back to Vienna, we will be inquiring about the availability of this apartment indeed.

Great Vienna base

First and foremost, these are very nice people.

The apartment is huge, clean, bright and completely renovated to modern standards, although in an older building. The owners combined three apartment units into a single large one. All the comforts of a modern U.S. home, down to the espresso machine. Comes with everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Decorated with art by the owners. This is Vienna, after all.

Transportation is a breeze. No. 5, 31 and 33 trams a block away. These trams connect to the U Bahn 6 station just over the bridge. Taxi stand 3 blocks away.

There is an open air market three blocks away. The safe neighborhood has many Turkish, Czech and East Indian immigrant residents, so plenty of exotic foods on offer. The Arabia Cafe two blocks away (home cooked Viennese food, not Arabic) is a great place to start the day before you hit the Innere Stadt.

Book it while you can.

Wir, Familie(Eltern mit Zwillingen 15J.), haben für eine 4-tägige Wien Reise in der 2-Zimmer Wohnung ADAM gewohnt. Wir haben uns in der stilvollen, zentral gelegene Altbauwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anmietung und die Schlüsselübergabe verliefen unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung und Umgebung ist zutreffend. Die zusätzlichen Tipps der Vermieterin waren äußerst nützlich. Gerne kommen wir einmal wieder!

Privater Charme

Der Kurzaufenthalt in diesem Appartement war wirklich angenehm. Die Wohnung liegt schön zentral, von dort gibt es gute U-Bahn-Verbindungen und nette Kneipen/Restaurants in fußläufiger Umgebung.

Das Appartement ist hell, gut ausgestattet und hat einige persönliche Details, die der Wohnung einen eigenen Charme geben

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuverlässig.

Ich würde diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

L'appartamento nel quale abbiamo soggiornato durante 5 notti corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione. È spazioso, luminoso, ben attrezzato e pulitissimo. Si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e in vicinanza dei mezzi pubblici. La signora Beate è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Unico neo: nel quartiere ci sono pochi ristoranti e per un buon pasto è consigliabile mangiare in centro.

Tolle Wohnung für Städtetrip

Tolle Lage, tolle Wohnung. Sie ist über Eck ausgerichtet und somit sehr hell. Die hohen Räume und ein sehr schöner Parkettboden schaffen eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Küche haben wir nicht benutzt, es scheint jedoch, dass sie wie das Bad erst kürzlich renoviert wurde. Sehr positiv ist auch die Flexibilität der Vermieterin, was den An- und Abreisezeitpunkt betrifft.

Zu Fuss wie auch über die nahe gelegenen U-Bahnstation erreicht man die Innenstadt und ausserhalb gelegene Orte problemlos und schnell. Einige kleinere Cafés und Restaurants findet man auch in unmittelbarer Nähe Richtung Karmelitermarkt - schaut euch um, es lohnt sich.

The flat is connected perfectly to public means of transportation: On account of the location in the 2nd district directly at the border to the 1st district, you go only few minutes to the historical city centre where all important places of interest are (Hofburg, Stephansdom, state opera, Burgtheater, Kunsthistorisches Museum, MuseumsQuartier, Kärntner Straße, Graben etc.). Moreover, the underground line U4 connects the apartment directly to the castle Schönbrunn. And the underground line U2 brings you directly to the Prater, in only 2 stations. Both underground lines (U2 and U4) and its station 'Schottenring' (exit 'Herminengasse') are directly around the corner from the flat.

The house, in which the flat is located on the 2nd floor, lies in a very quiet and nice residential area in the 2nd district, near the artist's quarter around the 'Karmeliter' market, where also many nice and good bars are. There is perfect shopping infrastructure immediately around the corner of the flat.

And for everybody who wants to do sports or go with the children once on the playground or in the swimming-pool: The nearby Augarten, the nice and biggest historical baroque park in Vienna, is only five minutes walking distance away. It is also home of the School and concert hall of the well-known Vienna Boys' Choir (Wiener Sängerknaben).

The apartment was top-renovated and is located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building, which was expensively renovated in 2010. This means all the apartment is in a perfect state. The floors are all very beautiful, mostly equipped with wooden floors (oak timber piling) or with natural stone in the bathroom. TV with DVD-player: We provide DVDs in different languages (many in German, English and Italian). And there are 8 TV channels, all of them Austrian plus '3 Sat' (German/Swiss/Austrian).
