Tropical Shores is a newly renovated canal front pool home. Villa II is decorated in a bright, tropical theme. The first floor provides a large living room with a 37' flat screen TV and DVD/ VCR player. The dining room has seating for 8 with 4 additional seats at the bar. A new kitchen with granite counters is equipped for all your cooking needs. Also on the first floor is a large bedroom with a queen bed, seating area and views of the pool and canal. Upstairs consists of 2 large bedrooms. One has 2 bunk beds (twin/twin and twin/full), play station and private bath – perfect for kids! The Master Bedroom comes with a king bed, large closets, 27' flat screen TV and private en suite bathroom. Also attached is a private balcony with canal and bay views and no-see-um screened Lanai. Dock for your boat, kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, toys and beach caddy are all provided to make your stay complete. Pool, kayaks and bikes shared with other Villa.

Fort Myers Beach is located immediately between two of the top ten Florida beaches; Sanibel for shelling and Lover's Key for eco-tours. However, the soft white sugary sands of For Myers Beach may keep you local.

Fishing, sailing, windsurfing, para-sailing, kayaking, dolphin, bird and manatee watching are only a few local activities. Short walk to the community pool/mini-water park, library with a beautiful shell collection, grocery store and several restaurants. Bike or trolley ride to Time Square for shopping and many more restaurants.

Quiet comfort

Our stay at Tropical Shores 2 was very pleasant It is located close enough to everything, but near the end of a short street away from the noise and traffic. The owners were very involved even calling me about a small internet problem.

The bed was comfortable, the unit was very clean and many small items were furnished in the the kitchen.Bicycles, kayaks and fishing rods were also available.

Even though there were only two of us I loved having the roominess of living in the equivalent of a home instead of a Motel room.

I would do this again if I get the chance and will recommend it to others.
