|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
If privacy, peace, and quiet are what you are looking for -- or if you want to spend every day looking for excitement, you must see this beautiful cedar log home, situated on an approximately 70-acre lake.
You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property!
There are only three homes on the lake, with no motorboats allowed. A paddle boat, canoe, and row boat come with the rental. Fishing and swimming are only the beginning. Many year-round Pocono activities are within minutes.
'I can't believe this place is only two hours from Manhattan, it's like a different galaxy! So quiet, so peaceful, so beautiful'.

'Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! This has been a blissful week for the two of us. You go beyond 100%. Every detail was perfect'.
From our guest book: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This has been a blissful week for the two of us. You go beyond 100%. Every detail was perfect! Twice I filled bird feeders. Boy, can those little guys eat! Thank you for all your helpful hints on where to eat and where to go. We didn't go far. This was our 18th Anniversary and one we will remember fondly. The sunrise is pure bliss.

From our guest book: Familiarity breeds comfort. Our second stay proved even more rewarding than the first. While the lure of the attractions in the area lessened, the lake keeps on giving. Just relaxing in this beautiful environment was the perfect salve for streesed lives. Like the little sign in the hallway implies, we wonderfully fell into a different sense of time. May the cabin be as rejuvenating to all those who follow.

From our guest book: Quoth the Mommy, 'The drive down the dirt track seemed to last 5 miles', such was the excitement of our imminent arrival... and we weren't disappointed! The cabin, the lake and the hills were filled with everything we'd anticipated - fun, relaxation and adventure. The General taunted Aunt Wendy all week by taking at least 5 hooks and many more worms. Current estimates have him at 15 pounds and although he was never caught, a wide variety of fise were hooked. Bonnie and Clyude (the chipmunks) are both well. There are more we believe, but never saw more than two at once. At the far end of the lake we met Mertle (the turtle) who's about a foot across.... As is probably quite eveident, we didn't get out much.... we just enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

I purchased this beautiful home in 1999 and have rented it out on an average of six weeks per summer with a few years skipped in order to make renovations. The home is extremely comfortable, sleeping six. Waking up in the morning and seeing the sun rise with the mist coming off the water is my favorite time of day. I usually sit on the deck with my coffee until other activities draw me away. Fishing is fantastic, swimming is invigorating and sitting in the sun on a lounge chair is relaxing. My family and I have enjoyed the cottage every year. My boys have families of their own and make an annual pilgrimage to enjoy the lake house. This house has been my get away and salvation in this hectic world we live in. I HOPE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO ENJOY IT AS I HAVE.

Peace and quiet with breathtaking views.
This house is secluded, with only three homes on the lake. There are no power boats allowed on the lake, making sure your peaceful vacation is not disturbed. You truly will feel that you are in another world.
Keonobles Amusement Park is 30 minutes away. Shopping is only 15 minutes away.
This is the best way to get away from the rat race.
The view alone was worth coming to this secluded area of PA. Swimming, boating and fishing were great fun and spending time with the family was wonderful. The cottage has everything you could want. We only ventured out one day to go to Knoebles Family Amusement Park. (One of the top 10 parks in the country). We had a fun day, but were happy to get back to the cottage.
House was awesome couldn't have asked for a nicer or more peaceful getaway. ...my family spent new years there...we made a fire outside in the fire pit...watched movies and played games up in the cozy loft...house was clean and so peaceful. ..will definitely be rreturning in the future!!!
My family stayed for New Years..it was exactly what we were looking for...something peacefull away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives...it was perfect!!! House was clean..spacious...nice and cozy loft were we hung out and watched movies and played games...definitely will be returning in the future!!!
My husband and I travelled 7 hours to spend a week at this cottage in Bloomsburg PA and enjoyed every minute we spent there - it is exactly as pictured and was quite clean and well maintained. Our only disappointment was that the fireplace did not flame up, but the owner was going to have this looked in to. The autumn season is very beautiful and we could see the colours progress in all their splendour as the week went on. We enjoyed walks and canoeing in the little lake. Internet reception was great as well as cell phone reception. Our week was spent reading, watching squirrels and chipmunks, resting, dreaming and planning our next getaway! We would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone wishing a time of tranquillity.
The cottage, location and setting are perfect. It is an ideal family vacaation site that offers a quiet and beauty created by nature . Kids can swim and fish at leisure, pets can explore and swim, and parents/grandparent can do whatever in a setting that invites an inner calm. The privacy is protected and precious, and invaded only by a magical mist that hovers over the lake. There are beautiful lake reflections of a near-by mountain, and breath-taking sunsets/sunrises.
The amenities are modern and extensive, with room to spare. The cottage was spotless, fully furnsihed inside/outside and well maintained; the owner was readily available. Will definetly return and stay longer.

My family and I enjoyed our weeklong vacation in this beautiful and natural setting. So quiet and peaceful on this lake with only a few other homes. The setting is definitely on the rustic side, but the home was very comfortable. Our boys had a great time fishing, canoeing and swimming in the lake! Knoebels Amusement Park (about 40 mins away through back roads) was a lot of fun too! Also a nearby movie theatre in Hazelton is handy for any rainy days. Overall, I'd recommend it as a great cabin retreat.
Forgot to write in guestbook at the cottage this year.
This was our forth visit this year, and another great vacation.
Went swimming in the lake right out the back door, went to an old coal mine, 1,800 ft. under ground.Very interesting. Knobles park all day, children loved it.
Wildlife all over the place, seen a bear, turkey, deer, geese, duck's,and the fishing was great, bass every time I droped my line in.
