Your very own, private luxurious retreat just minutes away from the famous strip! A home away from home, this Las Vegas haven is your perfect getaway with an OASIS LIKE Inground POOL, SPA, AND BBQ ISLAND. Our home is right across the street from the Spanish Trails GOLF COURSE, and since there is a putting green in the back yard you can warm up before a nice day on the hills. When you get back from a day of sight seeing come home to plenty of rest and relaxation. From the 56' DLP HDTV to just simply enjoying a nice romantic dinner on your very own private balcony and watching the sun set. The house can accommodate six people comfortably. It is gorgeously furnished with comfy bed linens, towels, and other essentials for your visit. The game room includes a POOL TABLE, flat panel tv, and a pull out sofabed that can sleep an extra two people. There is parking in front of the home and in the 2 car garage. Wouldn't you rather stay in a nice quiet home versus a loud, unspacious condo?

Our home is located just minutes from the Las Vegas strip and convention center. It is also close to Red Rock Canyon where you can go hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or simply take a scenic drive.

Really great home

The home is very nice and well kept. We traveled with our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. We really liked the house but LOVED the backyard. It is just as described . . your own little Oasis. The kids enjoyed the pool so much. In fact we could have just spent the whole vacation at the house and they would have been happy. The owners were very helpful with any questions. Would recommend it to others and would certainly rent it again. It was a good experience and vacation for all of us. The only problem would be that one bedroom is upstairs and one is downstairs. The upstairs is the master and normally you would put cildren in the extra bedroom downstairs, but the patio doors to the pool area are downstairs, so you need to be careful that any young children can't get to the pool without adult supervision.

We were there in April and it was unusually cool, so we only got to use the pool for part of the stay.
Owner's Response: We do have an alarm on the sliding glass door that leads to the pool, so if you do have young children we can show you how to use the alarm so it will alert you if the door moves even an inch.

My husband and I are in love with this property!! From the late night swims in the pool,relaxing in the jacuzzi or the nights spent in playing pool,watching a movie in the beautiful living room to sitting out on the balcony having a drink. We will defiantly be coming back with the kids next time. This home is great for a romantic or family get away!!

Excellent home

We have rented several homes through homeaway and this one is by far the best we have had thus far. The home is very spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need right at hand. The yard is fabulous with the bbq area, pool, hot tub and putting green. It is very affordable given all the amenities. We liked that we could see the The Strip in the distance from the house yet we were far enough away from all the action. The house is very close to everything...restaurants, shopping, scenic drives, The Strip, airport, etc. And it is located in a nice, quiet residential area. If you're wanting to "live like a local" in Vegas, not spend all your time on The Strip, and enjoy some quiet, rest and relaxation, this house is perfect. Our only complaint is that the layout of the home is not very conducive to a family with young children, with one bedroom on the main floor and the second bedroom downstairs. It is perfect however for one or two couples, or a family with older children. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend the house to others.

Wonderfull place to stay in Vegas

The home is absolutely beautifull with great views. . When we arrived at the house there was a hot air balloon right outside the patio. The house is laid out so that each couple has complete privacy. (We brought our in-laws) We don't enjoy eating out three times a day and loved cooking in the back yard and using the kitchen. Its only a few minutes from the strip and 5 hours to the grand canyon south rim. Be sure to go to the Red Rock Canyon its a 13 mile scenic drive that is unbelievable and only 10 minutes away. The Red Rock Casino was an unexpected find, the casino is elegant and clean and the Dinner buffet was better than the Bellagio. We will definitly stay again. No more hotels in Vegas for me.

Travel Dates - Christmas week 2008
What a beautiful home. We travel as a family of 6 so we find it more economical to rent homes or condos. This home by far trumps all others. We were only 10 to 15 minutes from the strip allowing us peace and quiet after a day and night of the hustle and bustle of the Vegas Strip. We also took a couple of day trips to the Grand Canyon (South Rim), Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam. I would highly recommend renting this home as it is clean, nicely layed out and comfortable. Instead of tripping over each other in a hotel room we had a whole house at our disposal. We shopped at the local grocery store so we often ate breakfast at home before venturing out and the kids could grab a snack /drink whenever they wanted (this is definitely a PLUS when traveling with kids!) The beds were very comfortable and all linens, towels, etc were top notch. The pool, spa and barbeque area looked inviting but we didn't use it with the temps in the low 50s. The home owners are very nice and one could see they take pride in their home. If you do decide to rent this house please be respectful of their home and property. You won't be disappointed.
